I was diagnosed with a rare type of blood cancer yesterday. It will not kill me, but this song is how I feel right now: like I'm suffocating, like I want to scream at the world and whatever god there is. Now I have to try to accept this and learn again who I am with this disease, trying not to lose my ground and just giving up. But for those I love and for those who love me, I can't let it take the best of me Edit: Thank you so much for the support ❤️❤️ I have come to learn that sadly there is yet no cure for it besides a bone marrow transplant, but that will only be necessary if it progresses much more further. There is a good chance it will never progress either, we will keep watching but so far so good 😊 I want to say to those with chronic diseases, be rare or not, to not be scared of seeking support from people going through the same. You are not alone and you don’t need to face it alone.

Simone is the vocalist responsible for my symphonic metal (and other sub genres) journey. She is angelic. This song was already beautiful. Simone took it to another level

I listen to her, I listen to her and I listen to her and I love her more and more, why does Simone sing so beautifully in these types of ballads? She makes the songs more melancholic and precious. She always knows how to touch the soul with her voice. Excellent lyrics, it's a 10/10 song, I love the video, it's simple but it says what it is.

This is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard, which is more surprising when I am a heavy metaller through and through, anyone who knows me would never believe how much I love this song.

I still recall Bittersweet with Valo and I am not Jesus with Corey Taylor... it was about time Apocalyptica made another collaboration of the same calibre. Beautiful melody and very intriguing and beautiful imagery. The music is gorgeous....the way the intensity builds up until it explodes in an array of emotion is so Apocalyptica like. Simone absolutely steals the limelight though. The vocals are impeccable. Powerful and controlled. Emotional and delicate. Absolute Perfection. One of the best singers out there. Your tour together is a dream come true. A wish for more collaborations with metal singers in the future.

Rise is my favorite song from the album and now it has vocals. I'm very complete. This was amazing.

I god. This is SO good. I was a bit worried at first, because the lyrics were very cliche. I winced when I heard 'pain inside' I was about to give up on the song. But then it got good. Really, really good. Simone's voice in this is stupendous. So perfectly sung.

I know everybody sees this differently, I’m going through a lot of things in my life right now so I strongly feel every word in this song. Thank you Apocalyptica for making life more bearable. And Simone for her amazing voice, getting to know her in Mexico was the best part of my year.

How come Apocalyptica's production team makes Simone look better than in Epica's own videos? I'm weirded out by all the glam and glitter overkill in their recent years. I definitely prefer this kind of simple minimalist cinematography when it comes to shooting Simone.
