The fact that MKB has risen from a kid with a tech obsession to the point of being able to interview Craig Federighi less than a week after iOS 14 was released shows the opportunity platforms like UKposts have given everyone and is one heck of an acknowledgment to MKB's commitment to his craft! My favourite part of this interview is Craig constantly adjusting his AirPods to prevent them from falling out.

I love how Craig is not only transparent about the design processes behind features, but he also listens to Marques' feedback and doesn't push it aside or try to defend himself.

I’m so impressed with Marques’ progress over the decade I’ve been subscribed to him. His video quality is constantly improving, his scripts are ever more concise and sleek. He has established himself as the benchmark other tech UKpostsrs have been held to. MKBHD’s grainy, laptop recorded start was hardly a hint of the future that was yet to come. Hats off to you Marques.

I actually agree with Craig on the icons mostly. Like you I did not care for the changes to the UI at first but the more I’ve used it the more I’ve grown to like it. My favorite part of this interview though was where Craig got smart coming back at you with that comment about using the iPhone exclusively. That had me rolling. 🤣

Marques jealous when Craig said he’d been using Mac OS for months. Craig seems like a really decent guy, listening to what Marques had to say and respecting his opinions. Good interview Marques, would love to see more of these.

I thought I was the only one that thought of Apple Watch to go on iPad. That would be a great option to have on the iPad. My mom has an iPad & I thought of giving her an Apple Watch but she doesn't have an iPhone. Marques you are exceptional voice to all who thought of these questions that lot of people were thinking, thank you.

Craig is awesome 👍 That battery icon is hilarious... wonder how that meeting went to keep that in the final release. The calculator app is just a missing feature that should have been in there from day 1. If someone of Apple is reading this: have options to make the user be able to configure certain parts of the ‘flow’ and have an Apple default version and the option to change. Like the Siri version that goes away when you tap out of the icon (like a modal) or have it always be on screen until user swipes it out. Then on a grander scheme have a default Apple flow for 90% of the users e.g. mom and dad just having the default versions and then for the technology people have all the options available for them to mess around with. This way you can still have that Apple quality and ease of use which we all love and then the other experienced setup. Win win. Once again Craig is great at what he does 👍
