If you're talking about the original Apple ad, most people were using IBM machines, and the ad was Apple's way to let consumers know "You can smash the standards" and to "Think Different, not the same" (which is where the original slogan of Apple came from IIRC)

I'm 50/50 on it as well. On one hand, Epic did break Apple's license agreement. On the other, both Apple and Google take a huge cut of developer funds for every transaction.

What happened was apple was stealing 30% of the income from fortnite purchases and epic decided to sue apple and add direct payment which was not allowed causing apple to remove fortnite from the apple store in response epic has decided to file a lawsuit on apple
