I would imagine the success of NEs future QB depends on a lot of pieces that just aren't going to be there anytime soon. Why not get as many blue chips as possible until you're a decent team and go find your guy then?

This is a dumb argument. If a team needs a QB, that should be the position they should prioritize filling regardless of any other needs. Every other position is way easier to fill compared to finding a franchise QB.

@StabbyMacStabStab good QB's can't do shit without other pieces around them, they will quickly lose their confidence and be a bust, if the Patriots get a QB they will fail

As a ne pats fan from boston id say ask yourself that question, how did it go with jj,cousins, hockenson,darrisaw? You built the team around cousins who wasnt the guy and have won nothing, why not draft a top 3 qb and build around him ?

@@gunnertdj1902 We had a defense from 2018-2019 with Kirk, Thielen, and Diggs. We had no defense and no IOL from 2020-mid 2023. We haven't had the whole package since 2017. As a Pats fan, do you remember the turn of the century teams with rookie Tom? How do you think he'd do without the supporting cast?

New England, Cardinals and Chargers want to trade. Leverage each team against each other. Jim Harbaugh for sure wants JJ to go to Vikings. Offer him 11 and 23 and he'll take it.

Pick 11 and 23, a 2025 first round plus maybe a 3rd round pick would be all that I would offer, this draft is deep in QBs but they aren't high level talent. McCarthy, Maye, and Daniels should all spend a season on the sideline to work on improving. I think the top three QB's last year would all be drafted ahead of Caleb Williams. If Bryce Young struggled on the Panthers what will Daniels or Maye do on Washington?

Vikings don't want Mccarthy they want that generational talent Drake Maye. Look, nobody would argue draft picks IF Maye becomes a Herbert, a Josh Allen, a Patrick Mahomes. Look drake Maye is a HISTORIC GENERATIONAL TALENT. Vikings can fix any kinks dude is only 23! Vikings have weapons, Vikings just need a qb. Vikings are a drake maye talent away from a superbowl.
