Ariana's vocal's are quieter on the TV version of Give it up as well, i assume just because of how high her vocal range is, but If you actually watch these two sing in the show, you already knew they were amazing singers, nothing hidden there. its just that the show was made because Dan wanted to do a show with Victoria, so if anything, it's because of Victoria's work on zoey 101 (and Dan's weird obsession with underaged girls tbh) that gave these two talented women their start.
