It's because she's singing in a lower key than she typically does. More of her chest voice than her higher register. I really like her in this range too. She undoubtedly sounds great.

She sits in silence with the TRUTH about what happened between them. Which is likely that he couldn't sort himself out. He wanted freedom and they walked away.
