The song is not about God having a gender. It is not disrespecting religion. If anything I think it praises God by praising woman’s ability to give life. In essence, the idea is that there is so much to a woman that you get to explore. She is a universe, a promise land flowing with milk (nurture) and honey (love). She is a giver of life which is where her god like ability comes into play. This is a very beautiful song. Her song Positions is also very beautiful to me.
