People underestimate the Group-of-5 as a whole, but I wouldn't underestimate some of the Power-5 paying G5 teams for regular season wins, which is why people are hesitant to empower P5 teams with G5 wins. However, if a G5 team beats a P5 team, good for the G5 team.

Great question. The big 12 was brutal this year but I did not expect a blowout this game. Players must have given up after so many close games.

It's probably more like the flex-bone, but Wing T offenses can imitate that formation if "doubles" is called.

There are Wing T formations. They run a fair amount of read plays like the wing T triple option, but also have many designed runs that are effective just based on misdirection and establishing patterns that will later be used to confuse the defense. Their are simply too many formations to call them a classic Wing T. Still very entertaining to watch.

Air Force uses Y-Trips throwing deep passes and the Triple Option out of the Wishbone Formation it's hard to read and difficult to defend. Baylor runs it from the Offset I Formation so you practically know it's coming.

bowl games have always been exhibition games. It's why 1AA/FCS has always been the one with a real playoff format.

We just got an awesome 12 team playoff on the way. Yes, these are exhibition games, but still fun AF to watch. Now we are going to have the best of both worlds in 2024. This isn't basketball, anything more than a 12 team playoff is simply going to be way too taxing on the players unless major changes are made to the regular season. I''m happy with where college football is heading. Perfect? No. But entertainment will reach new levels in 2024. Bowls are still a lot of fun due to the crazy matchups like this. Baylor vs Air Force was awesome to watch.

@@joshstephens6574 They AF players are Cadets on active duty. They can't decide, while repping the US AIR FORCE, to make political statements. Also, NCAA has rules about uniforms, as does the Academy. If they wanted to do it, they would have to go up the chain, and the chain would be "how bout NO."
