it's so satisfying to see someone understand that character on a higher level immediately. I've seen streamers play the character for hours and not realize or utilize the shorter drill cooldown under surface. This seems like a good rule of thumb combo. Super excited to see rollouts and setups in the future! I can imagine setting up on a sneaky highground to burrow from can be really cool

0:59 - I think they'll change that tunnelling ability so that you can't contest if you're underground. Same way Sombra can't cap when invisible.

Love it they make characters like this, which are best using their various abilities in different combinations depending on the fight to get kills.

DPS Doomfist died so Venture can adventure to screw Genjo.

Venture felt so good and has so much potential so i was expecting some player ( and some otp) to start maining the character really fast but oh boy, i didn't expect Arrge from all people to fell in love too.

This character feels like an amalgamation of DPS Doomfist, Hanzo, and Breach from Valorant 😂😂

Venture feels like a return to overwatch 1 doomfist in a way, insane mobility and ability based combos combined with an invincibility granting ability to nope out of sticky situations

What I think is most impressive about this for myself… is that I figured out most of these techs on my own, including the spawn rollout. I’m just happy I’m able to do that now.

i rly wonder if blizzard considered how much stall and mobility venture has if done right cause if u chain abilities correct it gets very hard to hit her and she shields inbetween

Is the spawn rollout slightly faster if you wait for the end of burrow, charge launch out, and drill dash in the air? The extra time in the air preserves your momentum from the dash, so I feel like it might be faster.

As a Hanzo main too Venture is really my style of hero and playing them reminds me of my days of maining dps doomfist. The only thing I suck at is their ult 😭.

Venture is super fun but has the potential to be even better if the burrow does damage if you do it on top of an enemy and just a little speed increase for the ability in general

I really feel like you should be able to wall climb with the dig, feels weird that you can't do it, and i think it would make sense for the kit too since it's extra movement options and gives you more opportunities to use that leap you get when going off an edge during dig

When you go underground and drill instantly you can wait until you're underground hits zero and then charge your pop up attack to have your drill completely off CD because the charge attack extends your time underground

Honestly, the ult charge is what I’m terrified the most of. In some clips you managed to get up to 83 in about 30sec just by using two abilities while being nearly untouched underground

insane possibilities, really fun to play.

burrowing on a high ledge to speed littertly into to the enemy backline is relly fun, its like a ground pharah

Venture from justbthe dev team gameplay we saw at Blizzcon I was already hyped for this character, and seeing gameplay, I know I'll enjoy them. Gonma wait a while tho, cause I dont feel like contesting people 24/7 for the pick

Character seems insane, able to gain shields by just using the abilities while being invulnerable most of the duration, has pretty ez escape options, has the potential to nearly end game any character with its increase melee passive too while able to displace/stagger opponents pretty decently. I don't really see the tracer comp that much, probably closer to genji with her dash being able to give her vertical mobilty while also doing dmg, but i'd say if a doom and hamster wanted to create a dps child it be venture

A good tip I figured out is that if you need to get away you can drill up at just the right angle so you move the furthest and make yourself hardest to hit and still be high enough that you can burrow on impact
