I think that is a mis-characterisation. Every team gets bullied once in a while especially away from home. We simply didn't have a forward like G.Jesus that could get us up the pitch by running behind or could win duels technically or physically. However we always played easy on the eye and pretty football but not enough in the opponent's half reducing the chances of scoring.

We struggled at Bolton for years. Then it was Stamford Bridge. Stoke. The list goes on. We would always get bullied. The first game under Arteta was away at Bournemouth ...we played very sleek football in that game despite not getting a win.The weak mentality narrative is just another clever canard like numerous others concocted by out rivals to put us down.
