@@Keboomrang cause beterbiev has been dropped by cab drivers and he's too use to be being able to walk guys down and close the gap, he doesn't have the footwork to close the gap on bivol but he definitely wont stop trying to walk him down so he'll be walking onto shots. Gvozdyk (same school than Loma and Usyk) was better than Bivol and Beterbiev.KO Gvozdyk. Bivol picked Lyndon Arthur who is not ranking top 15 in WBC, WBO and IBF. He was ranking #12 WBA instead to fight Gvozdyk. Bivol run away from Gvozdyk. Bivol don't land body punch. It's the only way to beat Beterbiev. Bivol beat nobody except the little Canelo.

Bivol punches plenty hard to stop opponents or make them hesitant, which is all he needs to make Beterbiev look ineffectual.

Even small Saul Alvarez could press Bivola to the ropes, but he did not have enough power to beat Bivol, and the absolutely stupid tactics of hitting his hands did not bring anything good to Alvarez. Beterbiev is a strategist, he is many times more powerful than Alvarez, he always has a plan, his combinational work on floors in a narrow corridor, work on the counter, counterattacks, constant hanging over the enemy - all this together gives results. Artur Beterbiev is like Khabib in MMA, he doesn’t seem to do anything supernatural, but he always dominates and destroys his opponents. The only thing is that age can let you down. It’s not just that Bivol’s team was in no hurry to let their boxer, Beterbiev, be devoured.

Sorry but this is complete nonsense on many levels, I am fine with someone choosing beterbiev over bivol, because everyone is free to an opinion. but firstly we both know there was certainly no ducking on either side, beterbiev was injured for a long period, during this period bivol already had fights scheduled, then beterviev already had the smith and before that the other smith fights prepared, so neither of these men are like other boxers, they will fight anyone. But let's pretend this hasn't been said, your assessment of the canelo fight is poor, it was certainly not canelos plan to hit the shoulders, it's bivols absurd defense that caused this, something which beterviev does not have, often gets hit, canelo couldn't move forward or keep him on the ropes, because bivol has too much footwork, defense and power to keep him there, there have been huge fighters all his life trying to do this, it has never worked, he has fought guys much bigger than beterviev, but I will admit, this is his hardest fight and beterbiev has very underrated boxing skills due to his amateur boxing background and he is more technical than some "brawler" but he is horrible on the back foot, his power jab is amazing but also terrible, he leads with his head down, something bivol does with no punch, this is bivols favorite exchange, the opponent goes in to close the gap and bivol already has 3 power jabs to make them not move an inch, then we have defense,beterbiev only has the phonebooth guard, very open which is why he has been knocked down twice and lost rounds. Because he is very very tough and a warrior so he moves forward but he is sloppy with his guard, then you have his footwork, more impressive than most people think, very good at closing distance, the problem is his footwork completely dies on the back foot. so you have a slower, older boxer with a lesser resume, with worse footwork and defense that cannot fight from the outside nor the backfoot, but is a freak of nature with power and technique on the inside. So the odds should be 70/30 bivol. but of course, if bivol somehow makes a mistake and gets emotional and sits down on his punches in a dangerous position then beterbiev can catch him and knock him out, otherwise there is just no way he can outbox him. But make no mistake im a HUGE fan of beterbiev and the man he is and his morals, both humans are fantastic and exceptional fighters!@@user-kn9gx7bh4l

You make a few good points But ONE is flawed… as It is unlikely that Bivol will have Beterbiev on the back foot. The difference in pressure & punching power is simply too great

Well yeah I agree if he can close the distance repeatedly of course, bivol is done, there is a reason he has 20 stoppages because if you let him do what he wants to do it's over for anyone, but I just cannot see it happening, because bivol LOVES the counter power jab, which always puts any fighter in a stuck in the mud stance, off balance, which is why then he has time to tee off and bring it back in the middle and one of beterviev worse traits is he ducks and leans head first with his power jab because his offensive footwork closes such a great gap, but he forgets about his opening. I really think the only way beterbiev can win is by bivols mistake, perhaps a feint by beterviev followed by a miscalculation by bivol that opens the body for a brutal liver shot that then allows him to tee off and finish bivol, something like this is the only way!
