Back when I taught undergrad CS courses, I made a point of _not_ scripting my in-class coding demos, so that I would make mistakes and students could see the process of finding and fixing them. My students always appreciated that, because when all of the professors only did scripted coding demos, they appeared to be perfect, and students were intimidated, because they made mistakes all the time.

Thanks for the apology. While I wasn’t personally impacted, and thus am not in any position to forgive (or not), as a customer and fan of the company, I appreciate seeing an openly shared mea culpa, and indications of what you’ve learned and what you intend to do better.
