I had a roommate I lived with in Denver years ago. She had this weird drunken play she'd become kinda notorious for. She would often fall asleep drunk on the couch after going on wildly awkward DM binges directed via Instagram at pro skiiers/ boarders and random celebs she thought she could potentially meet someday. She always said something funny and flattering and would wake up the next AM and read them to us and we just would laugh at the nonsense. Damn near all of them didn't answer her...but I shit you not- in the three years we lived there she probably got to meet like 4/5 famous athletes (mostly mountain sports) simply because she reached out and would offer to show them around Denver or let them stay with us or some other BS LOL One time Justin Bieber responded to her.
