Will adding a 16GB Ram in sodimm slot be useful, since dual channel will only consider 8+8? And isnt the battery life too low for evo laptop? Yes it will consider 8+8 only. But overall performance hit will be only 15% maximum with rest of 8gb left. For gamers looking for higer fps it will be issue, but not for normal development purpose usage.

@@adhirajbhattacharya8574 No it's 100% of 8gb and 50% of 16gb will work in dual channel. Theoretically it's assumed that double channel configuration will perform twice that of single channel. But in real life usage performance difference is only 15-20%. Gamer's will mostly notice this difference in fps.

I'm not a heavy user....I open quite a good no. of chrome tabs at once..... Very professional looking Performance- not tested at full level..... but as expected....can handle several tabs without any issue......not perfomance issue.....and looking at the present condition, Idon't expect any performance related issure

How is the initial boot speed and how is the speed when the screen is locked and unlocked ? When you used the finger print scanner, there was some delay. Any reason for that?

Thanks for that ,but i do have a doubt that as per amazon its storage is expandable upto 4tb where as ram upto 24gb, but in some other video i saw that 16 gb is the max supported ram and max storage could be extended upto 1tb only.... can u clear me with this doubt plzzz

1080p resolution on 15.6 inch display, bad deal as it has to stretch out all those pixels for that size and in turn the picture does not look as sharp but oled might hide it a bit.
