ASUS Rocks! After my Mac's couldn't keep up with Pro Tools upgrades my nephew gave me his older ASUS G750JW Gaming laptop, I installed two solid state drives and added memory. It runs Pro tools better than any Mac I ever used. Lower buffer settings and almost no latency. I produce everything from Rock, Rap, Country to Rock Musicals on a gaming laptop. I can only imagine how well a newer model would work or a desktop for that matter. Once you leave Mac you'll never go back.

I have this laptop and it's beyond amazing. I am not usually a laptop user, I have probably went through 10 laptops from the Surface Pro i5/8gb ram, Macbook Pro with an i5/touchbar/8gb ram, alienware r4 i7/16gb/1070gtx, wacom companion i7/16gb, google laptop etc and I actually kept this laptop. I usually return them because I can never find the right laptop that takes care of all my needs. This laptop is the complete package I just love it. The only thing I wish I could change would be the SOUND. I feel like the sound is a bit lacking and it sounds kinda small if that makes sense.

This is the best new concept of a future laptop i have ever seen. Since 4 years i travel around as a digital nomad. Working with my dell xps13. This dual screen would be amazing for my premiere work. Cheers Daniel from Melbourne

This is the perfect laptop for music makers... That second display is perfect to fit a mixer. Hell, since it's touchscreen you could literally use it like almost a physical mixer.

This is future of intuitiveness, ergonomy and functionality. Loved it and I am dying to get one.

I think it could be very useful for all sorts of uses, I do think however, having the keyboard so low would mean you would have to move the laptop further away from you than an ordinary design so as to use the keyboard and the lack of wrist rest isn't ideal. My first thought is you could have data, reference material or such on the top screen and say, have MS excel in the screen below, it would be far more practical than having to tab between programs for so many uses or simply have Messenger on the bottom screen and whatever you are working on in the main top screen. Its pretty awesome really. I think this design could quite possibly be one of those times that once you use it, you just cant go back, so many practical uses.

Will the price be more than the mac book pro 15 inch..

Just bought an Asus gaming laptop. Works great so far and no major issues.

had the 14 inch model for 2 days, heats up when browsing and can clearly hear the fan along with a high pitched noise!

Needs OLED secondary screen and Matte finish on both screens , and another version that you can fold up to eye level like that Intel concept .. Pro duo is more portable but that Intel one is better for Home on a small coffee table ... So people would want either Also make a MicroLED version once that technology comes out

The idea of the Hinge is good it will work on cooling also but I have a doubt that it may cause the scratch also which will connect to the surface!!!

Regardless of the extra screen, I think bringing the keyboard to the front edge makes a lot of sense. I find it awkward to reach over a touchpad. Of course, I avoid touchpads whenever possible.
