Aurora and Reykjavik, what a combination. I've only visited once but saw a stunning female duo perfom surrounded by people half my age and felt so welcomed. I don't think anyone can explain why Reykjavik is so special you just have to experience it yourself. Same goes for Aurora.

Truly a different kind of human!

So my new years resolution was to go to as many concerts as I could possibly go and afford. I met Aurora in a videogame show where she explained her collaboration in an indie videogame. I was captivated by her personality. I remembered I had heard that name before on my spotify playlist so I looked out and I stumbled upon Running with the wolves and Cure for me that somehow I had saved but I had no recollection of ever doing that. Anyway, I re listened to them and I liked them a lot so I started adding more songs and man this girl can sing, it sounds ethereal, like somehow my body is gently leaving my body and feeling nothing but peace. Still I was a newbie but I was captivated. This whole year I was chasing for concerts all the time, the new years eve thing. I found out she was coming to Mexico and I bought the ticket right then and there. Stil thinking if it was a good financial decision because I wasnt a fan after all. The day came and I can honestly tell you it has been one of the best days of my life, she has a way to connect with people, you can actually feel her emotions through her voice, her charisma and how she dances and floats around the stage, it will always be in my memory. She has a beautiful soul. I've been in 15 concerts this year, even went to see one of my top 3 bands of all time and still, this is the best concert I've been this year. And ever since that concert, she is one of my favorite artists. I listen to her daily now. It's 2 am in here, in my safe place: Aurora's music.

Don't know how to explain this, but when music flows with lyrics, and singing isn't just random words, or good singing with just random music, here singing just blends together with music, like one piece, singing and music just make one piece of melody.
