Doesn't it just break your heart when you listen to all of the old songs and remember how life was when they came out. Life used to be so simple and so fun in the early 2000's. Don't you just wish you could go back and be a kid again or a teenager again and grow up without being addicted to technology and having it constantly in your face, and being able to go outside or interact with other people without having to check your phone. When I was 14 and the world was horrible dark place, especially school, I would just run up to my room stick a cd on (yes I had cd's, I'm old) and dance around to Avril, it was like she got it, all that angst. She will always be my inspiration! I'm a stronger person now, because her messages of self empowerment and be who you wnat, to hell with everyone else, that was my strength in the dark days so as far as I'm concerned she can have raccoon eyes and rocking with guitar when she's 70 and I will still buy her music!

So much for my happy moments listening to your beautiful musics Avril, xpecially this one that marked my life.

I have bougth her CD during a very difficult time in my life and her singing was one of the things that made me cling to life. I will never forget what she gave me with her songs. (I still have that CD, and no, I was not the type who typically spent money on music) This hits so much in the feels, both with the blessing I felt when listening to her and those hard years which made my life a living hell. It tears at those heartstrings.
