大阪に住む３５歳です。 ７月の末に骨の癌が見つかりました。 余命は８か月！だから、あと５か月程かな。 思えば２月１６日の武道館、やっとの思いでチケットをゲットし、サマソニ以来の生べビメタを楽しみに張り裂けそうな気持でコロナ渦の中、新幹線を使わずに車で８時間かけて東京まで行ったのが昨日の事のように思い出せます。 今、思えばあの頃から少し股関節が痛く、「ま、仕事のしすぎか」くらいに思っていたのですが体は病気に負けだしていたのかな、なんて思います。 けど、そんな事も忘れるくらい期待で武道館に向かい、足の痛さなんか本当に忘れるくらいの感動で武道館から帰ってきたのを覚えています。 確かに余命宣告を受け、落ち込みはしましたが何も手につかない中でもべビメタの音やDVD、新しい情報がないかとネット、ユーチューブを毎日チェックする自分に気づき「ああ、本当に自分はべビメタが好きなんだなあ」と思い、何だか暗い気持ちも自然に消えていく日々でした。 そして仕事を皆さんより少し早く引退し、今は残された時間をいかに大切に、楽しく過ごすかの日々の中、ここ２か月も同じようにべビメタの新たな情報をチェックする事を楽しんで過ごしております。 もう、自分は新たなべビメタにはお会いし、直接応援をする事が出来ないかもしれませんが、また必ず皆さんの前に元気な２人？３人？？が笑顔で登場する事を、遠い場所より心からお祈りしております。 僭越ながら、私よりエールを 「すーちゃん、もあちゃん、そしてゆいちゃん！君たちは若い！まだまだまだまだ、長い長い将来、無限大の可能性がある！その若さは何よりの武器です！自分を含め、私たちメイトの大半の方々より若いあなたたちは無敵です。私たちが終わったとしても、あなた達はまだまだ続くのです。その眩しいくらいの最強で最高な姿を、もう１度皆の前で爆発させてください」 BABYMETAL、そして３人の心の使命でもあった、べビメタを通してさくら学院の名前を広めるという事もしっかりやり遂げた上での休憩だと信じております。 長くて、少し重い文章にはなってしまいましたが、２月の武道館は私が生きた最後の誇りでもあります。 本当に有難うございました。

I was on set a few months ago and was asked my favorite band. I am a 64 musician from Nashville. I said Baby Metal. One of the actresses screamed "Shut up! You may be the coolest old guy I have ever met." I had nothing to add.

As a new fan, it’s always a blessing to visit the Babymetal archives and experience moments in history like this. Not just the video, but reading through all these comments from 2 years ago. Seeing everyone’s emotional out pours, of not knowing what the future holds, all documented. It’s like everyone left their signature at a memorial, now frozen in time like in a digital ice. I only hope UKposts doesn’t mess anything up with an update or something. Either way the hearts have been expressed and at least I am here to witness it like a museum. In hindsight knowing what the future holds it fills me with hope. This really gives me a sense of perspective looking forward. I am grateful I took the chance to see them on the Babyklok tour. I can’t ever take these girls for granted.

Babymetal was important to me when life was fading away from my sight. They gave me joy and strength to keep going. Thank you Babymetal. Hopefully this isn't a "farewell", but a "see you later". WE ARE THE ONE.

I feel like this is a "until we meet again" type of farewell as opposed to a "thank you for the memories" type of farewell. Basically, it's not a goodbye but a see you soon type of thing. We've seen Babymetal debut on the scene as teenage girls and have watched them grow into mature, young women that have redefined a genre of music and gave it a fresh face. All the while, they have likely sacrificed much of their personal lives and development to give us a grand tale to experience on stage, on tour, and in their music. Their career is a musical masterpiece of art that only they could create. So this is just an end to one major leg in the journey. More than likely, the ladies are going to take a much deserved rest from the spotlight. Whether they choose to take time for themselves or pursue solo ventures, the Babymetal era is just something that will be taking an extended hiatus. Maybe in about three to five years, they will return as something else. Whether as "Babymetal" or as something else entirely, this is not the end but the sign of a new era to come. I got into them around 2014 or so and honestly I wish I got into them sooner and was more active in enjoying what they have released. I enjoyed their albums and I love their videos. I can only wish these ladies nothing but the best of whatever life has to come for them and to all those involved in their creative realm. Thank you for everything you've done over the past decade. When will we see you again? Only the Fox God Knows.

I would've never thought years ago that a band like this would be my favorite. But, here we are.

I got into Babymetal just yesterday and I come across this. I was not really a fan of metal but Babymetal just connects with me, maybe because im at the teen age or there is something that Babymetal has that hits my heart.Although I have 10 years of content and music to watch during this break, I still am heartbroken. I’ve been a babymetal fan since 2017 and I can’t thank them enough for making my day better with their songs, live concerts, the members and more

I regret that I just entered the fox hole recently despite hearing about "Babymetal" back in my early college days, I feel that I missed a certain part of my music life since at least 2013. Watching their performances both in their official music videos and live performances from they were in their early teenage years to their almost mid-20s made me realize how I missed the real-time opportunity to see them grow both as a band and as fine young, talented ladies they are today. I can't consider myself a metalhead, but I love music especially rock music, and I guess some of us (if not most of us) love the kind of music BABYMETAL brings to us because within the heaviness, rebellious feeling (if you may, can't find a better word to describe it) covering the inner personalities that we have, there's a core (our heart or soul) which BABYMETAL penetrates and hit us hard with all their elements while still satisfying our need for heavy music - resulting for some of us to be so hooked or emotional while listening to and watching them. And that's a great experience for me, and I won't be ashamed of being a fan of a band that created, founded a new genre, (or sub-genre for others), and introduced and shared its goodness to the world. A band that I'll proudly introduce to my children someday. I'll be and will always be a kitsune forever. 🦊🤘

Rediscovered them last year. What a journey they’ve had huh? So many epic moments, growth and challenges. Bought the Tokyo dome concerts and it was the best two night concert I’ve ever seen. Mind boggling the amount, and how difficult, some of those songs and choreography were! The Legend 1997 was the most theatrically incredible concert I’ve seen and that was when they were 16 and 14!, Legend S was the most emotional and my favourite. They challenge my thoughts on music and I thank them for it. I’ve discovered genres and musicians that I wouldn’t have because of them, and they taught me that no idea is too crazy. Su said it best: Don’t think, just feel! And so here I am crying as I watch this again. Hope this isn’t good bye, but thank you Su-metal, Moametal and Yuimetal for giving so much!

They practically sacrificed their childhood for this. I admire them a lot for doing what I could only dream of doing. I hope they can grow and do what they love.

i know i only got into this band recently but here i am crying. This band has cheered me up so many times and i hope Su-metal and Moa-metal have a great life until we see them again because they deserve it.

Even though they weren't gone for long, this video still gets me. I was definitely someone who saw them as a foolish gimmick when they first started out. But it didn't take long at all for the band to win me over. They took a genre that I felt had grown pretty stale( like with much of the music industry, all the metal bands from the 90's on seemed to just copy each other to the point where you couldn't really tell them apart anymore) and put a unique twist to it. I suppose this video does represent the end of the old Babymetal. There newer work does have a different feel to it, but I'm all for it. You gotta grow.

I still can't believe this band worked! ...and not only worked it's probably my favorite band ever. Definitely took my guitar skills to where I never thought they'd ever be learning to play their stuff. Hope this is just another chapter because they'd literally be throwing away a winning lottery ticket not keeping this going.

i found baby metal like 9 years ago. i loved their songs and would check in occasionally. it’s been a couple years and i came back to see this. literally emotional dude wtf this was beautiful. i feel so lucky i randomly got invited to see the red hot chili peppers in tampa one year. i had no idea baby metal was opening. and when they came on i swear the only other person besides me that seemed super stoked and knew the songs was this asian guy by himself wearing a baby metal t shirt. he was going nuts and i started going nuts with him. im really glad i got to see them. i remember seeing baby metal that day and i was way more stoked to see them than rhcp. thank u babymetal

it would be strange to end it now. IMO the biggest thing to happen in music this past year is the worldwide discovery of Japanese bands and music during the pandemic. People have discovered them on the internet. Now, there has been a group of Westerners that were early fans; but, the fanbase has grown incredibly huge during the pandemic. I would like to see BabyMetal put on a worldwide final tour if this is truly the end. It will give the old and new fans something to look forward to. Also, it will show BabyMetal how much bigger they've become during the pandemic.

Am I the only one that hears Yuimetal in the chorus? The third star at the end is a tribute to her for sure. So, could it be that their management really cares more about health, friendship and an intelligent narrative for the band than all the money? Ok ten concerts in a row is a little bit squeezing it at the end, but to me It looks like the points above are more important to them. I love happy endings.

I think this is the most beautiful and yet heartbreaking version of this song. I am deeply saddened that at least for now they have left the earth, but to see three lights ascending brings my peace. I only came across this band today due to a Facebook post I read. I cant believe I'm really late to hearing them. I don't understand what they say but I listened to this song and Gimmie and thought they were both really good. They seemed really awesome and amazing. What have I missed out on? I suppose I can still listen to their music regardless if they're coming to an end. They seem really spectacular. I wish them all the success in their future endeavours

One of the greatest bands to ever take the stage. Can't wait for what comes next.

Something inside me told me to react to this today, and so here I am. I started following BABYMETAL's journey when Doki Doki Morning was released back in October of 2010, and ever since then, their music has really helped me through some very dark times in my life. I am hoping once this whole "restoration project" thing wraps up (probably later this year assuming it's a linear process), we will see them back and even stronger than before. Until that time comes, we must stay adamant. We must stay hopeful. And above all, we must... STAY METAL.

Can we just appreciate how good Su's english has become ?

Babymetal is my favorite band. They blew away everyone else with their incredible music, style, and how completely different and unique they are in the world of very bland, similar modern music (in my opinion, of course.) This is heartbreaking news, but I echo other people's comments: the ladies, composers, guitarists, drummers, writers, all of the amazing people who make this band special deserve whatever time they need to rest. In the meantime, let's keep the flame alive by blasting their music wherever we go! Cheers. And... ありがとうございました! (I'm in the early stages of learning Japanese -- hope this comes through!)

I met Babymetal in 2017 and I liked the changes that the band had during the passage of time, I wanted to see Babymetal since I met them but I did not have the possibility to travel from Colombia to one of the countries where they performed, I hope the return of Babymetal to be able to fulfill one of my dreams which is to see them is live. すずかさん、もあさん、ゆいさん本当にありがとうございました😊😭私ベビーメタルを6歳くらいからずっと大好きで、2017年10月15日に大阪城ホールに行きました。まさかそれがゆいさんの最後のコンサートなんて思ってもいませんでした。ゆいさんは病気で引退してしまいました。私が行った大阪城ホールがゆいさんの最後だったみたいでとても奇跡的だなぁ泣と思いました。そのあとすぐギター担当の藤岡さんが高い所から転落して亡くなりました😭私の心の中ではこれからもベビーメタルは輝き続けます！ベビーメタルの皆様本当にありがとうございました😊😭幸せでしたし、今もこれからもずっと幸せです😊

Wow. I just discovered them last month (Jan. 2022). I was aware of them but it wasn't until I started listening to their music after a UKposts recommendation (Karate, live at Budokan) that I see how incredible they are! If they do continue, and touring resumes safely, I would definitely see them live in a heartbeat! Amazing!
