バイクで運ぶことを前提に開発した折り畳み式のボートです。
全体重量は１０ｋｇ程で軽量です。

Love the design - however i think it could use a skegg or rudder - keep designing!

Great design, you might want to consider a rudder so that it tacks straighter and doesn't turn when paddling

This is the most amazing folding kayak I've seen. Maybe you should sew the fabric differently to make it tighter but it looks amazing. I'll take inspiration from your blog for making one on my own, thanks a lot for sharing

What cloth you use for making skin?

I use a flame retardant sheet. However, although it is lightweight, it is thin and easy to tear.

It's so cool!! I want to make it, too. In the comments below, the material is referred to as a 4mm plywood. Are the 4mm plywood boards joined together? and What is the control panel?

I love this design and want to build one for myself. what kind of wood did you use for the frame and how thick?

The frame uses plywood(4mm) and inexpensive control panel(10 - 12mm) for building. Skin uses waterproof sheet for building. Making it very cheap.

is the control panel also plywood or is it a composite material? the ribs appear to be made from plywood. the only part im not certain on is the side strips at the front that bend to form the curved front. I appreciate your reply

Front part uses flexible lauan plywood. It has flexibility and is light but does not have much strength.
