I actually know a man who was asked to leave an all you can eat buffet. For the same reason as here. It wasn’t necessarily because he was eating plate after plate; he just wouldn’t leave. He spent the whole day there foraging until they told him he would have to pay again or leave, he chose to leave and chalks it up as a major victory.

Something like this actually happened in Brighton a few years ago and actually made national news headlines. Two fat blokes got barred from an all you can eat restaurant in north street because they kept taking their own extra large plates into the restaurant!

I know this man's pain. The kind of buffet where you shovel the food on your own plate isn't the problem, it is the ones where the waitress has to continually bring you more food - at some point they just ignore you or altogether stop coming to the table.

Me and a mate used to go to the pizza hut all-you-can-eat buffet when we were poor and just moved to the city. We used to time so we arrived right at the start, and we carefully paced ourselves to we could eat non-stop for the whole three hours. It was hilarious how much you can cram in if you take it steady.

The last all-you-can-eat place I went to was here in Spain. A police special unit came in armed with machine guns. Fortunately they had no interest in me or the amount I was eating. They'd just come in for their lunch.

I remember having to speak with customers about over doing it when they visited our buffet. They’d spend $5.99 and eat plate after plate. They’d come everyday like this character. On a few occasions they’d be asked to purchase another buffet or start heading out the door.

My girlfriend and I were asked to leave a Tandoori restaurant that offered late Sunday night all you can eat for £8.99. I was very hungry and had about 3/4 helpings of various dishes (already cooked and on hotplates) and lashings of Cobra beer. We were the only customers they had!

I like to imagine this scene was supposed to run a little longer but Ricky couldn't contain his laughter after the "I'm absolutely fucked" comment and just skipped to the "take a picture line" to get it out.

i went to an ALL YOU CAN EAT in Torrance California one time with a friend who'd go quite often - there was a giant blob of a ''man'' on a huge wheel chair with a food encrusted bath towel covering his front (neck to knees) and his brother would go back and forth to the buffet bringing him food - My friend said that any time he went there , those 2 guys were there .
