She acted and sold that song with such emotion and charisma that I was moved to tears, even though I don’t speak French and have no idea what she is singing about. That’s the power of performance.

This is not only one of France's best entries but also one of the best performances we have seen on the Eurovision stage.

The way the camera moves erratically from left to right as the song reaches its crescendo, the lights blinking, her singing becomes a lot more passionate... a truly cinematic backdrop to give even more life to her performance. The way the light in the back is shining at her as the camera swings around, and she then also puts her whole soul into the song, is just amazing i swear.

I watched this live with a group of very noisy friends. We were having fun and laughing at everything that came out the screen. But when Barbara started singing we were left speechless in awe for 3 minutes straight, which in itself was an amazing feat considering we were already drunk. I will never forget it.

This song isn’t exactly underrated, but for a song that came second I feel like people aren’t talking about it as much as they should anymore. I still come back here a lot just to feel something, this performance is just amazing.

I don't think there was any moment more perfect than at 2:48, where she belts out a heartfelt 'voilà', and you can hear the crowd roar in answer. This was a masterpiece.

She had nothing on stage, just a lamp.. But she filled the stage with her talent She is the living proof that a Good song and a Big talent are enough to go well in the contest.. No many visuals, not dancers just quality..

For those who don't understand French : That's the story of "someonone" who cannot believe in her dreams and who needs the support of everyone around her. That can be the singer herself because she says "this black-eyed woman and her crazy dream". Maybe her crazy dream was to win Eurovision song contest ? We don't know. She just "wants to write story that hurt people in their heart and soul". And Barbara Pravi wrote the lyrics and the music. She is full of scars, she barely not exists. Sometimes, she doesn't like herself. She needs people to look at her to feel better. She just used to stand in front of people and do what she does the best : singing, be nude in front of everyone who's staring at her at this particular moment. She exists at this right moment because people make her existing. Is she better than another singer ? No. But the difference is there : she gives everything, always. She puts everything she has inside her on the floor. Well, that's the story of someone who doesn't trust herself but when she's making her thing, everything is ok. And so, what happens when the lights shut off ? Is she continuing to exist ? Her voice continues in our head, her story too. But what about her ?

The biggest dillema of Eurovision's history Was Måneskin or Barbara Pravi. It was an outstanding edition that was ultimately won by the spirit of that time. The love of chaos over this, peacefull but powerfull performance. Either one could have won.

This is not a dig on Eurovision contributions in English, but you can see this song written by the person performing it in her native language has a very visceral connection to the singer and you can feel her passion - that is not something you usually get with songs written in English for people whose native language is not English.
