It all started with Shawarma: in Bashkiria there was a mass brawl of Chechens with local residents
In the Bashkir village of Temyasovo there was a mass fight between local residents and immigrants from Chechnya who worked at the local career. It all started in the pavilion with Shawarma. According to one version, three Chechens, working at a local career, insulted 18-year-old girl-seller.
"One of them began to drink and behaved inappropriately, - says the seller Liya Suleymanova. - He had a fight with my friend, then with the second, then with me. Threw a Shawarma at me, and then it all started."
To help the girl came her brother and his friend, a brawl ensued. After having it moved to the forest. Against ten Chechens made about two dozen residents of the village.
"The Chechens would have scored an arrow to the end to understand, - tells the inhabitant of the village Temyasovo Weldon of Kulibaev. In a couple of days our guys went into the woods where these guys are Chechens. There was a fight between them and our guys."
"The fight began, the booth began to burn. They started throwing axes and crowbars at us," says Artem Suleymanov, another resident of Temyasovo.
The result of the mass brawl: a few burned huts and vehicles, two wounded villagers. One got stabbed in the stomach and ended up in the hospital.
"Everything happened in a temper, without thinking: so quickly that no one had time to do anything, to think," admits a resident of Temyasovo Boris Fedorov.
After the fight the village was raided by the police. They detained two Chechen workers and more than ten local residents. This caused a new wave of conflict. To the district from the neighborhood gathered about five hundred residents of nearby villages. They besieged the district police Department and demanded the release of their own. The police fulfilled this requirement, but after it was done, the Prosecutor's office intervened. She opened several criminal cases under part 2 of article 111 of the criminal code ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health") and part 2 of article 167 of the criminal code ("Intentional destruction or damage to property"). They include at least one person on each side of the conflict.
In Bashkiria opinions on the incident were divided. Some consider the fight of the usual domestic quarrels, the other - ethnic conflict. Representatives of the Chechen Diaspora insist that the conflict could flare up between representatives of any nationality:
"I would like to appeal to these so-called hacks: please do not write and do not say that this "interethnic relations", - said Segamat Musayev, the representative of the head of the Chechen Republic in Bashkortostan. - It is an ordinary household quarrel with which law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation will deal under the law of the Russian Federation".
Political scientist Andrei Potylitsyn is also sure that the prerequisites for the conflict are not inter - ethnic, but rather economic, and recalls that the Bashkir TRANS - Urals is a depressive region.
"In these areas, youth unemployment, crime, alcohol abuse thrives, - lists Potylitsyn. - And on top of all this, the region is intensively visited by people from the outside, who, to the surprise of local residents, receive completely inexplicable preferences and opportunities."
Mother Leah Suleymanova, which insulted in the pavilion with Shawarma, reported that her daughter have received threats:
"In social networks wrote: and you will kill, and your whole family will cut, if you do not take away the application," she complains.
Several Bashkir public organizations demand that the authorities remove the charges from the villagers and punish Chechen workers, including those who insulted the saleswoman. They also require the resignation of the head of the district and the chief of the police Department. But while the authorities only check the activities of the industrial company, which worked Chechen shift workers.
