I'm 36 with severe dark circles and a very textured dry under eyes, concealers don't work for so I only use bb cream and I've grown to accept my dark circles peeking through ! I love these kinds of videos they do help a lot.

Hi Zabrena I love your review and I do agree with your opinion. I never could make work the Revolution one and I have now to try the Essence one. I have the old formula so I need to try this one. I'm part of this Breakfast Club, too. 😆 I've found a color corrector from LA Girl (?) in a dark peach/orange. I thought it'd be too dark for my super fair skin. But it worked! I'm currently using the PF Butter concealer, and loving the blendability. I've started using an eye serum overnight... with Vaseline over it. 😮 Holy cow! It is doing wonders for my under eye. Circles, bags, wrinkles all improved. I have used the NYX BWM, too, but I like the Butter better. Zabrena, Risa and Wayne are the only ones I trust! 💕😘

So appreciative of how you never say "for the price" or over enthuse about the luxury feel of a product or how "special" it is over it's performance and individual traits. That's important to me. Putting on makeup at all takes energy that is in short supply in my life. So just wearing it is plenty luxurious imo. Love you 💌.

Wow that’s crazy I can’t stand it 😅 Not sure if being born in the early 80’s counts as mature skin but I have severely dry skin too & started to see fine lines. I got the elf camo after everyone & their aunt started recommending it, but it is SO cakey on me & I barely used any!! NYX bare with me on the other hand is one of the best concealers I’ve ever used! I skipped concealer most of my life cuz I always found it aging & felt it added texture.. but every now & then I’d pick one up only to use them just a few times each before going back to none. Anyway when I came across the NYX bare with me something made me pick it up (probably the packaging lol 😅) but I’m so glad I did cuz I absolutely adore it!!! 🦋💘🍭

I'm around the same age as you. I learned to do colorful looks from Nickie Tutorials. I get general beauty recommendations from Kathleenlights. I follow Zabrena for makeup especially since she uses both drugstore and higher-end products. I've switched all my makeup items to a drugstore and instead invest in quality skin care (quality doesn't mean expensive💕). I learn from Youkeyy, Kolorful Kalmele, and Nyma Tang for deeper skin tones as I do some of my friends' makeup.

I recommend Lisa Eldridge and Wayne Goss as well, in this land of UKposts, it's easy to develop makeup practices that have no sound reason behind them but are based on trends, the above two like Zabrena will teach you the techniques and whys. They're classically trained make-up artists.

Thank you so much for doing these "Battle Of" videos I would really like to see liquid foundations next and eyeliners. Those are the main one's but honestly I really hope you put every step up to the test and battle them out. My top is the NYX concealer. One hack that I do with this concealer is I mix a small amount in with my Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator to lighten the shade (the lightest shade is too dark for me.) It makes the perfect foundation and concealer combined. I use the Incognito concealer to cover hyperpigmentation spots, letting it set up for a while before blending it in. I will also use both these concealers as a foundation as well!

The end reminds me of your “must have, must nots” that you use to do! Future ideas I think would be great: battle of blushes, bronzer, etc. and battle of eyeshadow colors (pinks, purples, blues, etc)

Aloha and thank you. You’re much younger than me so your use of the word ‘crease’ stands out. I will try the ELF. I use Maybelline Super Stay #25. Very happy with the color match and it wears for about 15 hours. Spreads easy and I like the paddle shape applicator cause it doesn’t blob on the product. You look great!

I own almost every concealer you tried, and I totally agree with your Top 3/Bottom 3, except for the Milani conceal and perfect. I just love that one! And Revolution's undertones are too pink for me. Love this video, can't wait for the rest of the series! ❤️

Catrice concealers are great! I use the one you showed under the eyes and their long wear waterproof one for blemishes and body bruises. I use the older one drop concealer under my eyes when i want more coverage occasionally and it's pretty good too.

I can't wait to try some of these. I always feel good following your makeup recommendations since with are both fair skinned, both live in hot humid places, and I think we are about the same age. And when Im out in the wild of the drug store i get so overwhelmed, and I have owned some terrible concealers. I also really like the Maybelline eraser, which I think you also recommended on here.

I loved the Revlon, Essence & Catrice on you!!! The others looked either grayish or rolled into your inner corners near the nose. Have you ever did Color Analysis??? I’d love to hear makeup comparisons to your undertones (which seem warm to me). As always your videos are detailed & so informative

Great video! The slightly heavier formula of the elf hydrating concealer does really well for my more mature, dry skin. If I put too much on, it will crease. So I have to use a light hand. It holds up all day for me and looks great at the end of the day.

I am 49 and have dry skin, with dry under eyes as well. Even when I add extra moisture under my eyes I find the elf does the same thing to me. I do recommend their yellow colour concealer for dark circles(I'm cool toned, pink undertone, fair and it works for my skin tone) Dermablend makes a full coverage concealer that is thick so you only need a small amount but that covers everything and doesn't move at all! (waterproof and transfer resistant)

My favorite drugstore concealer is the new one by flower beauty, but I want to try some of the ones you recommend! I deal with a lot of hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. I’ve tried a lot of drugstore concealers for this problem and I’ve found CoverGirl TruBlend Undercover Concealer works so good for this! I’m actually surprised she didn’t mention that concealer in this video. It really is one of the best at the drugstore. It has the best undertones and isn’t yellow like a lot of concealers

I love my covergirl outlast red cap concealer , a little goes a long way and it lasts on my dry skin. Will say make sure you use a really hydrating basic moisturizer because it is more matte.

Wow great video! The wet and wild incognito wasn't pigmented enough for my dark under eyes So I gave it to my 11 year old daughter and it's perfect for her. Her circles aren't as dark and she doesn't have to worry about creasing lol. I like the ElF camo that has enough pigment and lasts but I'm no longer a fan of ELF as a company. I'll have to give some of your other recommendations a try. Thank you so much!

I May have to give the Revlon concealer a try. I have trouble getting concealers to hide the darkness under my eyes. Hopefully this will work! Thanks for the reviews!

I have hereditary veins under my eyes. I have literally used everything over the years. Even the Becca undereye (which I don't like). Just nothing covers completely. I use the la girl peach corrector and I bounce around concealer.

@@dressupyourlife2010 the cream that has kinda worked ok, some days is ...CeraVe Eye Repair Cream. I bought some others with caffeine in them, but I don't have puffiness. So take away what I do have and they look worse!!! I don't what filler , so it is what it is lol. I will take my olive green skin from my one Italian great grandpa and ... The dark circles too ❤️.

@@dressupyourlife2010 there is another UKpostsr. All beauty by Sarah. She has dark circles and tests most concealers. I have bought some in her top 10. I am going to try to use the Becca undereye corrector again. Maybe with a small fluffy eyeshadow brush. It's just so thick!!!

Well maybe I will try concealers again but have tried several at low and high prices and blah - after a few hours underneath eye looks wrinkled and dry. If you do battle of the bests would love to see for brows and lip liners. Even brow setting makeup - although the hack of using Elmer glue disappearing purple glue stick works pretty good....

I agree I am in my 50's and love Maybelline Age Rewind. It doesn't sink into the lines around my eyes, don't need that much, feels lightweight which I love, and undertones goes so well with my skin. I think they make a foundation which would like to try. So many of their foundations unfortunately break me out now. I do wish they would leave out acne causing ingredients. I have the Cameo and some CoverGirl trublend undercover concealer, but always go back to the Maybelline one. Would like to try the NYX Bare with me concealer and maybe the Revlon one.

How did you do the rest of your base makeup when you tested these products? Did you do it the same each time? If so, what products did you use? Your complexion looks great in all of the closeups!

I don't like the MIlani for undereyes either. But, I do like it for hiding imperfections on other parts of the face.

I’m watching this video cause I can’t find the incognito concealer in my shade 😩 I’ve been using it for a while and it works for me but sometimes it’s a bit too orange. Gonna try the essence one next!

I appreciate your time that you spend with product wear time. I'm hopeful to find a good concealer in your top three. Next please, please, PLEASE Mascara! I have 59 yr old oily eyelids and oily under eyes. I use eyelid primer on eyelids and under eyes before corrector. Lightly powdered means lines and texture shows. I curl my straight lash, put mascara on, and I shortly will have flakes and/or smudges. Tried Milani Tubing which, flaked and smudged.

Agree with @msjojoblues - Plz do a mascara comparison! I am 52 with very dry eyes thx to an autoimmune disease. Weirdly, you get lots of tears with dry eyes so ANY mascara instantly runs, smudges or streaks on me. It’s incredibly frustrating! I’d love to just wear false eyelashes but I also have tremors so it’s hard for me to get them on. Would love any advice you can offer on this! Thank you!

I have to say, the best drug store concealer I ever found was Maybelline FitMe. I tried the Age Rewind- and I did not like it. I know- most swear by it but not me. FitMe was creamy like Tarte (my go to) and easy to build up / blend out. ❤

P.S best iv tried is the revolution pro concealer in the square plastic tube with the gold lid, I think you would LOVE it! Give if a go some time maybe xx peace love and joy, Emma xx
