Battlefield™ 1 - How to unlock the SMG 08/18 Optical

You unlock the new SMG 08/18 Optical by performing 50 kills with the Automatico M1918 Trench and destroying 5 Tanks with AT (Anti-Tank) mines. The SMG 08/18 optical is a new weapon that came with the new dlc pack In The name of the Tsar. You have to unlock the new weapons by doing assignments. Tip 4 destroying 5 Tanks easy & fast is to seek out camp tankers. I find most of them in Soissons. I hope you'll enjoy the video and I hope it might help yall out a bit. What A Thing Yall!

When you FINALLY get close enough to a tank to plant the mines and then destroy it but you realise you need to do that 4 more times

I find that automatico gun very hard to control. Like it fires up and away when i click R2. How do you control it so well and keep it Central

This is not the Automatico though, but in case of the Automatico (which has high vertical recoil) you should hold the aim button (R2) in controlled bursts so not longer than about 2 seconds I would say. I don't play with the Automatico though. I barely touched it :p

@@Djoenz oh i thought that was the automatico. I have to use the automatico though dont i to unlock the smg optical? Get 50 kills with the automatico gun. Is that right? I thought it got unlocked because i purchased the premium pack but its still showing as locked in my assault loadout

Another tip for the Automatico hipfire works wonders. Also I like to mention the fact this video was posted way before all the new TTK patches and such so the Automatico might play a bit different now. They lowered TTK, but gave the Automatico maybe even more recoil than at the time of this video.
