The worse thing to come out of this recent decade is that the greedy stockholders suddenly demanded that every single games have “heroes” and that we ditch the “simple grunt” characters that pretty much all original multiplayer shooters were founded off of. I legit care about the Battlefield 3 engineer more than I care about these specialists

Ji-Soo is gonna be the most hated overplayed Specialist in game.

Specialists in Hazard zone would make a lot more sense. Medic, recon, support, and engineer in regular matchmaking would make it so much better

I like the false advertising of these specialists fighting alongside and against generic soldiers. But when you play the actual game you're seeing doppelgangers of yourself and your teammates. Good job Dice

When jack “dice please” frags says that the wall hacks don’t belong in battlefield, that’s when the franchise has changed…

REMEMBER! If people don't like the way the game is going, vote with your wallets by NOT BUYING THE GAME, or ANY SKINS if you do like aspects of it. Player numbers speak too: if people boycott the base multiplayer and only play portal (without specialists) EA/DICE will notice, like they noticed non-existant player numbers on certain modes in past BF games.

DICE and EA really need to address the specialist problem. Reinstate the older traditional class system. A huge amount of the fanbase just despises this decision.

I really wish I could just have a customizable soldier for my class. I hate playing as a specific character to be a medic. Like in the beta having to play as that 70 year old woman to get the healing pistol

Just cancelled my pre order and pre ordered the GTA trilogy instead Every other shooter game has specialists but the Battlefield series still would've been really good without them and was the main reason why I enjoyed every BF game until this one came along and decided to be like the others.

Just a few days ago, DICE unveiled the remaining Specialists set to be playable in Battlefield 2042 come launch. One of the said Specialists revealed was Emma “Sundance” Rosier, which we can now confirm is a non-binary when it comes to gender. I mean what has Gender to do with Battlefield? can we go to bed with them after a match? bring back classes and not this specialist stuff

Specialists totally ruin the core of Battlefield.

The only thing that i dont want in a bf2042 match is seeing everybody with specialists and not soldiers.

I read somewhere on reddit that specialists should be exclusive to the hazard zone gamemode and that regular game should have the classic classes with the customization from bf5. And I agree with whoever said that on reddit.

I have the feeling this game will be forgotten really soon

Why we must care from what country these specialists ?

Battlefield has always been about the anonymous soldiers that didn’t want to be heroes but still sacrificed everything. Specialists seriously need to be only in Hazard Zone. Let the underdog soldiers be in the main game

I will never forget that one day back in 2006 when i stumbled upon a video on UKposts with footage of a war based video game with infantry and vehicles. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing...soldiers hoping out of Hummers all in authentic desert beige uniforms etc. That day I went to the store and bought BF2. Been playing the game ever since. The peak for me was BC2 then I started noticing the gradual deviation from the roots of the game. A major step in the opposite direction was the introduction of spawn beacons which killed the pushing forward on the ground to gain terrain. Till this moment I’m seeing this footage of a game in which I think the word “Battlefield” should be removed from its name. I will never forget that day same as I will never forget today....in which I will have to say RIP Battlefield!!

There is only 4 specialist in battlefield: Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon. 2042 evolution of bf? Oh no no no.

I don’t like this at all. Everyone looks the same even when on different teams. In past Russians and American soldiers had different uniforms and each class had a different outfit. This current system already made so much confusion during the beta… there really has to be a way to be able to separate teams.

Not to beat a dead horse or anything, but this game would be a lot cooler if they brought back traditional classes with just a standard soldier look….
