I love how DICE randomly drops these trailers with no warning at all.

How to make the worst battlefield game ever - Throw out the unique, beloved, and time proven battlefield formula. - implement a hero shooter formula instead - go all in on skins and microtransactions at the expense of overall content. - make sure the game is not competitive by removing the scoreboard and nerfing the point system. - make sure people can't play on their favorite maps or select map size etc (no server browser). - make sure people can't communicate with each other (no voip or all-chat) -kill the immersion by making everyone look exactly the same, like clones, and add cringey voicelines on top just to make sure the immersion is really dead. - make the maps too big and empty, with no destruction. -make sure there are very few weapons and little customization options. -dumb down wehicle mechanics so that there's no skill needed to operate them, and therefore also no reward associsted with mastering them. - add tons of bugs

Battlefield 1 was the last battlefield that was just great…. Missing the old good times… Fun fact. The graphic of bf1 is better than BF2042.

It's funny, the only two bad pre-order experiences I've had were BF4 and 2042. AT LEAST BF4 HAD A GOOD GAME CORE AND WAS ACTUALLY A BATTLEFIELD GAME! And it had long update/content support!

DICE's idea of servers: "OMG Look, 2042 vs other Battlefield games!! Look how cool this is!" Servers in reality: "No Specialists. No Shotguns or kick/ban"

Bring back first person melee. Something about looking into the enemies eyes when you knife them is far more satisfying than a third person takedown.

I like how they have custom lines for stuff that they shouldn’t even be able to see in their conflicts.

bought a new xbox just for this release all of my old competitive BF4 squad was gonna come back since you were going back to the roots we were all top of the bf4 stats on defuse... we were very excited to come back and game together after so many years.. but after about a hour of 2042 we were done

big maps dont always mean better. u gotta understand the effects of it. having big maps means less chaos. we want chaos. how do we get chaos? make a smaller map so we have more contact with the enemy. this game's map is too big its like walking miles to kill an enemy

This game mode alone should have been the next main game of the series, and no fancy title like "universe" or "ultimate" just simply ""Battlefield Portal". With all the game modes, guns, gadgets, vehicles, and maps from Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2 and 1943. Plus adding other titles like Battlefield 1, Hardline, 2142 Battlefield 4, Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Bad Company 1. They would literally had 5+ years of content and if they wanted to add a new title all they needed to do is build it and add it as dlc.
