One thing about BF3 and 4 is it was just 64 players in a big map. Now there's 128 players across the map which means a lot more crazy action and combat.

yes though the same. Maybe they will do an extra presentation for that but still weird that there was no collapsing building at all. Maybe its because the mainpart of the video was taking place at "hourglass" wich mainly consists of skyscrapers wich most likely wont be destroyable. Gameplay looks sick but the graphics seem very bf4ish. I thought they where also working on a new smoke engine which allows smoke to "reflect" on hard surfaces so it moves more realistic. didnt see that as well I hope its really pre-alpha gameplay

@Johnt Schmichal I’m fine with it in the sense that I don’t mind having characters with backstory that you can CHOOSE to play as. I just don’t like them being the only option, and the appearance being tied into their equipment. If I want to use one equipment I should be able to without having to have a certain character. I’d be fine with it if we just have battlefield 4 character customization and then the specialists like battlefield 5.

Bf4 was random too though. It really depended on what the players were doing to the map that decided the changes. If all players equally destroy the entire map it just becomes flooded. But it doesn't happen every time.

Yes, I'm sure that was the motivation for waiting to release a new Battlefield. I'm sure it had nothing to do with waiting until next gen consoles were wide spread enough that they could quickly recoup their development costs. Almost like they learned a lesson with the release on BF4.

It may be fun the first few times, after that it would really piss me off having to deal with this damn storm every time. Yeah, calling a game that’s set in the future unrealistic may be dumb, but if that storm really happens everytime, it’s super unrealistic! It would absolutely ruin the immersion for me..
