Funny how when the specialists got first announced, literally everyone talked about not wanting it, and a few people liked it, of course they never changed it because its gonna make them money

I do not like the specialists at all. Nothings worse than running into a section of the map and seeing 10+ of the same character. The fact that their outfits are the same, regardless of faction, makes it feel like fighting a bunch of clones more than anything. At the very least, change the specialist appearance based on what faction they’re on. Overall, I think the best option would be scrap the specialists idea and give players generic soldiers to customize.

In the first hour of the beta, someone is going to get in a tank, fly into the tactical tempest, and get a cross map kill. I'm calling it right now.

I can't wait to get my hands on some next gen jeep stuff.

Gotta give DICE credit. I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to play a beta that's lasted several months. Hopefully the full game comes out soon.

DICE please listen to the many voices of your veteren player base. Delay this game and fix some of the core fundamental problems that many people have pointed out and take more time to fix ALL the bugs and performance issues. Rework the specialists into classes so that everyone cannot just use any weapon and to encourage teamwork through the actual use of medkits. ammo supplies, and revives. The current specialist system will create a meta load out that everyone will use and completely destroy the variety of specialists, gadgets, and weapons being used in your game that you've worked hard to create. We all know that all the bugs are not fixed after the "old" build that was given to us for the beta. Stop this cycle of delivering unfinished games at launch only to have them polished 6 months later after people have already left the game. Give us a great game from the start and your fanbase will reciprocate that love with continuous support for this game to keep it thriving

I miss the generic soldier. For me, the player made the specialist, not the specialist making the player. The players who were actual threats, the opposing team starts to remember their names.

This beta has definitely put me on the fence about buying at launch. Definitely will not be pre ordering, going to wait and see what people are saying and see some new gameplay of what kind of state the game is in on launch, but this beta definitely didn’t give me any confidence that the game is ready in a month.

I've played for some hours and this are the bugs that I've found: Trees look weird from a distance (like 20m or so); The planes and helicopters move weird while spectating from above; The bodies tend to move chaotically while on the ground; After You land you still have your parachute on , and the other players can see it; While sprinting / sliding into a wall you can see through the texture. I hope It helps

I get so many titanfall vibes from this trailer The "capture your sectors and repel the enemy" reminds me of the titanfall round start "this is a battle of attrition"

Enemy: OK squad strategy is simple, capture the objectives, take control of the sectors and repel the enemy. My team: 80% snipers camping in the bushes, on buildings or in the spawn. GG

2 insane moments I witnessed firsthand during the beta: I saw a fighter jet crash into the side of the point a building on orbital On the same a building on top of orbital at A1, a tank just... dropped from somewhere near my position at the tope of the building, I hung out a bit with the crew of the tank doing patrols around A1 perimeter until the tank got destroyed

I like how they actaully show the gameplay and not gameplay without hud

I'm Gunna be 100% honest here and say I haven't been this hyped for a Battlefield game since Battlefield 4!

I remember when Battlefield V came out, and DICE was talking about how we needed teh wimmenz for players to be able to "express themselves", I would joke "Why do I have to speak German when I play on the German team, then? Why can't we add voice customization so my character can speak English with an American accent like I do." Now you literally have the same chance of speaking English with an American accent whether you play as Russian or American. The series has got so ridiculous you can't parody it.

PLEASE ADD COMPASS BACK TO MINI MAP! Thank you! It would be greatly appreciated!!! Also with the increased player count we deserve to have at least a 6 man squad come on even battlefield 4 had 5 man squads!? Its tough when you have more than 4 friends that play Battlefield and only 4 of us can play on the same server. Also allow players to change out the specialist tools (grapple, auto turret, etc.) so players can build classic class loadouts if we so wish.

Limit the guns and gadgets for specialists and sort them into classes, that way the community gets what they want and you keep your precious specialists.

It's been quite a while I was this excited for BF!

Finally, I will play it all day long

And once again, I'm astonished by the effort put into the details: Sound design feels precise yet impactful. The way the weather affects visibility in different ways and changes the atmosphere. How wind caused by storm or helicoptors sways the vegetation. Heat haze caused by jet exhausts and explosions. Jet maneuvers causing condensation due to air pressure changes. Tunnel and environment lighting affecting the interior of cars. Vortex trails of jets being displaced by airflow. Primary and secondary explosion of the tank shell hitting and the hit tank exploding. Random objects getting picked up and flung around by the tornado.

Dear DICE Devs, watch the video "Battlefield 2042 Is Really Bad" by the Act Man. And read all the comments carefully. Alot of constructive criticism to find there. You people said you wont make the old mistakes again, which seems true, but now you create new ones. I too find the Operator system is a really bad decision. Maybe its only limited in the beta, like it was in the black ops Beta, But a BF not having clear distingushable factions is a horrible move, and very lazy. Your enemies look the guys on your team is confusing and often u dont know if you should or should not shoot or act. Clear visual cues to be able to tell enemy from friend has always been a huge part of the BF series for nearly a decade. Changing it now to the way it was in the Beta does terrible damage to the gameplay. It destroys the pacing and the fun of the game imo. Been a BF customer for years. Skipped feminist BFV and want to give Bf2042 a chance. Dont F this up, DICE !
