@@cybergeist8932 If you play on PC then you can use your sound settings to turn up the bass some which does give you the thump from firing but the issue is that it will give you a headache after a while. Better yet, you want a beefy sub to really feel the thump from the shots too lol

What are you talking about? This trailer showed us nothing new. It's all the same stuff they already had just on a different map with some different guns lol. I love BF but these kinds of comments are blowing me away, like they are doing nothing new or different, just putting coats of paint on stuff already there.

It's actually averted apocalypses setting with the arrival of the map Reclaimed and the new season. At least hinted to be. For a quick rundown, the Shearpoint satellite (the satellite you see when loading up the game) was a US terraforming experiment intended to stabilize and reverse the climate and weather as the climate crisis got more and more serious. However due to a flaw in the programing, it not only backfired and worsened the climate, it was also what was responsible for the global Blackout. The data that Oz had Irish retrieve and was supposed to deliver to him (and got at the end of the Exodus short film) was data for the Shearpoint project and the fact that the US was inadvertently responsible for the worsening climate and global Blackout. Oz's determination to get that data, as well as his push to create a new NoPat nation in the wake of the numerous failing countries helped cement the notion that Oz was a NoPat terrorist, which was being pushed by a CIA agent named Wolff. A false flag operation launched by Wolff and his team also ensured it would stick. The post release maps are tied into this backstory, and the profile backgrounds for the later seasons (IE seasons 2, 3, and 4) provide snippets into the story. The joint US-Canada base on the map Exposure was the control center for the Steadfast Refuge project, which is what the Shearpoint satellite was apart of, and Oz's movement, known as Silver Spear, raided the facility while US and Russian forces fought to dig up more data on the project, and more importantly the head of the project, Dr. Voros. The Dark Market's base in Panama, the beached freighter on the map Stranded, in addition to containing details of Oz's activities, but also served as a stopping point for Silver Spear as convinced Voros to help them and move them to a new lab. That new lab being hidden under the Nordvik facilities on the map Spearhead, which is where we get introduced to Silver Spear through Zain, who was acting as the Voros's bodyguard while they hid him at the facility. It's also where the NoPats of the Exodus discover what Oz was actually up to, and instead chose to join alongside Silver Spear. Silver Spear, Exodus, and Blasco and the (former) Spanish naval vessel Impavido all gathered at an abandoned Wellspring facility in South Africa, the map Flashpoint, to defend it as it is where Oz planned to change first once the errors in the satellite's code were fixed and it was proven to work. Through out all the seasons, Wolff was relentless in hunting down Oz and Silver Spear, changing his tactics and launching a public offensive on the NoPat site at Flashpoint, largely for the fact that he's holding the data stating the US inadvertently caused the Blackout and worsening climate that toppled numerous nations. It is in fact Oz that was speaking in the trailer, no longer hiding his identity, especially to the NoPats of the Exodus, as presumably the changes worked and the plan to not only stabilize the climate but also create new, habitable land and a NoPat nation in the fallen South African Richtersveld. That is what the "New Dawn", both what Oz and the season, implies. The NoPats united after being forced from their home nations as disasters made them uninhabitable and their governments fell, created a new nation state, and reversed the climate disasters. The conflict likely shifted as both the US and Russia relied heavily on the NoPats for their war, promising them a place in their nation if they fought. Many also likely wish for their countries to be restored, not have new ones built upon the ruins. And, more importantly, the NoPats possessed a technology that could just as easily destroy the world as it can restore it.

No this game needs better sound design for bullet whizzes and reloads, get rid of SPECIALISTS and make better maps! Like exposure with huge rubble pits, make lots of destruction and lots more gadgets, weapons and unlocks, less vehicles per each team and more cinematic battlefield moments, also make the maps smaller, less open

Just to give you some context in the lore of the current game there is a man who is called Oz who manages a nopats Oz has been trying to find out what happened to the satellites and we found out recently that one of the satellites is actually a machine that controls weather and they can use it to specifically help the planet. Oz wants to use it for that purpose at least that's what it seems like but in the lore America and russians are fighting over this as well and they were both going to use the nopats as as a scapegoat and blame the current state of the world and the fact that all the satellite systems went down on them. Here is Oz giving a speech telling that nopats that they are going to shape the future because in the current easter egg of the game if you haven't done it you learn about the satellite and you're going to use the satellite to secure your existence as nopats. If you want to hear The Dice developer's voice voice over what the players in the communities are currently doing they have an official podcast that you can find but it's not on UKposts because they don't know how to market well you can find the podcast on Spotify Apple all that other stream and stuff for music. Sorry for the formatting too lazy to do better

Fighting for the US and Russia as different No-pats throughout the “war” and then finding out they are just in another arms race that the two powers put themselves in even while the world is crumbling around them.

Really, what most people are forgetting is that right now we are in the ACTUAL year two. It's just a shame that most of the support has been geared towards fixes and changes instead of actual new content. I'd say I hope I'm wrong but I know I'm not. DICE has a lengthy track record at this point of cancelling support for games when they actually get good and this won't be any different.

@@ramiere1412 DICE explicitly promised that BFV would have more development poured in to it (in more than one formal letter to fans) and then promply sunsetted support after a single solid expansion. I think the game was in a good place, and 2042 is a different situation but in both there's a lot of potential. BF fans are justified in wanting to see DICE follow through, I think.

Most of the community uses helmets or any type of face protection gear (which is expected, since most headgear pieces provide that). You can still see who is who, but people don't look like clones at all most of the time

@@thebigsam Yeah, if all the specialists use the tier 4 skin they just basically looks like an normal soldier on the field, I mean when you shot people at 20-30m+ you can't even tell who or what they are wearing and most of the time they just looks like a generic soldier at that distance. With the chaotic nature of battlefield you can't even had a time to care about the clones closest to you and that is your own teammates.

They need to cut and run. The game has like 7k people on steam. They need to put their resources to something new. Nothing they do is going to bring back the 90% of people that left after launch week. They could make it the best shooter around, and it will not matter. You get one launch and they blew it. Better to make something new with their time and resources and try again, rather than try to keep afloat a game tied to a block of cement in the ocean.

@@EridianX 24hour peak is 20k and pc is going to be the least played platform, plus it is on ea, epic most sales being between ea and steam likely, if you look it up the game peaks at around 50k active players and 600k playing monthly, not great for a bf game but for a game its self not bad honestly
