@@MumboJumboZXC Yeah, nah. At a minimum another 2 years before a new DICE title. They need to keep the interest up in some way, it's hard to believe this is the last season.

Also seems to be lots of different areas. Deep forest on the outside, locker style interior and some interesting corridors like the one with the zipline

Love that ot's Locker-esque, but I still want Operation Locker and Operation Metro 2014 added to Portal. There is no substitutes for those classic maps with their many choke points.

@@maxpain45678 Titan assault was such a fun gamemode! Capturing the silos and watching them launch the missiles at the titans then everyone raiding the titans and crazy battles in them

I keep saying this...I just want walkers and titan assault by the end of 2042. Also, the hardcore squad mechanics of 2142 with SL spawns and stuff.

Give it time. It's too early to say anything. I hope it continues with support til the next one is released.

Agreed, hate to say it but if they wanna keep the game alive they should at least make 2-3 more specialists. I know people don't like them but it will at least keep the game alive a little bit

I also remember that only a relatively small portion of the playberbase was actually willing to shell out $15 for 4 maps and a bunch of weapons. The DLC servers would be ghost towns within a month of launching especially the later ones as more players naturally move on from the game over time. I wish we got more maps too, but the disaster that was the launch of 2042 effectively killed whatever the original live service plans were. The sheer number of bugs, missing/underwhelming features, and lack of coherent design choices forced to DICE to essentially redevelope 2042 post launch.
