Probably both Arras and Twisted Steel will be the favourites vanilla maps. Both are medium size maps and are all out warfare.

I only played the beta so far and I really love Rotterdam, but that because my favorite bf1 map is Amiens and Rotterdam is similar.

Typically i get asked the same question. I tend to look for movement rather than individual silouettes. Also the more you learn the map the better this works.

Just buy Post scriptum. Actual emersive teamwork based WWII game. With the best effects I've ever seen in any game. I'ts still in early acces but a ton of fun!

Marc1234fem Yeah, part of that I think is just the time period. The weapons aren’t like modern day. But the gun play is a huge improvement from BF1. With practice with weapons I’ve found you can be very effective in this game, but it still isn’t laser beams. A step in the right direction, and miles ahead of BO4..

I was def an abuser of the spot spamming.. it's still rather hard to pull flanks off without suppressors. I've pulled off multiple flanks, get 2 or 3 kills, and get gunned down by the rest of their team.

@@mrbeaner90 Not really, how can you flank when the scout sitting at the back of the map managed to mark you and then everyone can see you on the map? Flanks could be done but people spamming the spotting made it harder to go unnoticed

Those aren’t holographic sights... it’s called « Reflector sight ». It was invented *before* WWII, but was not used on small weapons, more like airplanes or AA. This is historically inaccurate; but this is *not* an anachronism Check it on Wikipedia

Of course they'll be dirty. They're fighting in mud. And keep in mind reflector sights were not perfect at all during that time

I agree, such an immersion killer and to all those that said it existed, or authentic. it was not used on the ground for small weapons so it should not be in there whats so ever. Aircraft, AA guns etc fine but not this. Also huge advantage over iron sight in an era where it does not belong.

Rambo_Lambo_Bear you don’t “need” to necessarily, but it is a style many high level players adopt for many games, but nothing necessarily says that it’s the only play style. I’m not twitchy in any game I really play, I don’t believe in it I think it makes your eyes miss movement, so I practice twitch shooting from relatively static positions so I emphasize smooth movement above all else in all my games I play and wish to be “competitive” in. But I think I understand what you’re saying that it appears like everyone who is streaming or playing on UKposts appear to be twitchier in this game than in past bf games at the moment.

That wasnt the case in bf3 though but in bf5 and bf1 yea das true
