why do the soldiers look like they're having fun?

Trevor never played this series, this man really said co op was one of his favorite aspects of battlefield 1, co op was last in bf3

Everyone just wanted a simple 'realistic' WW2 game but nope, we get this.

Remember when British women with robot arms and William Wallace fought against the Germans in WW2? No? Me neither.

Women predominately DID NOT serve as front line troops (aside from Russia - which was an act of pure desperation). For the reason why, just google the US Marine Corp Force Integration study. Here's a summation: Including 25% women in your squad reduced overall accuracy of the entire squad by 50%, reduced the entire squad's speed over rough terrain by 50% (because the men had to constantly stop to help the women). Fully rifle trained women were less accurate than completely untrained men. Women were substandard in EVERY field of testing. They didn't just hamper themselves, they fundamentally reduced the lethality and effectiveness of the entire squad.

Jesus, that trailer was a clusterfuck. Heavy tanks driving as fast as a car and plowing through buildings, planes and bridges falling from the sky, jumping from two story windows in a fall that would surely break a foot or an ankle, and last but not least a female soldier? Why don’t they just call this CoD WW2-2? Is it too much to ask for a grounded, semi-realistic gameplay experience such as we had in Battlefield 3? Battlefield had become a ridiculous comic book/action movie-turned video game that has no semblance of realism whatsoever. And that was what made the old Battlefields so much fun. They blended so well the realism aspect with the arcade shooter. Now it just seems they’re going full CoD-style arcade shooter. Last time I really had fun in a Bf game was Bf3...

¿Where the hell are all the cool military uniforms that we always see in ww2 photos? characters seem like they are wearing some clothes from some kind of gang, not military uniforms. ¿Why is there a female soldier with a prosthesis arm on the front line? and I don't want to sound like I'm based on hollywood or something but, ¿why the hell does the german soldier look like some kind of bike gang member?, my hype died in seconds after watching the trailer.

A woman is on the Box Art, because women were a key demographic of WW2, with robot arms, not at home making arsenal equipment and raising a family.

I know the dude was talking about his little brother playing the game for history class and so on, that idea was ripped after the trailer

I love the idea of "Tides of war" where you progress through the war chronologically. Also like the "grand operations" idea to play bigger/longer operations. Also love it the game is going back/down on UI clutter and icon hunting/shooting, more situational awareness. I'm curious how i should read the 'Company' thing, is this where I create different kinds of soldiers or is this a big group of friends you can call in during a battle? If it's the latter, you really need a very big and active BF gaming group, which could be a downfall and a feature that flops. I also love the soldier customization, but I hope it doesn't become a circus or a halloween dressup. Soldiers wear uniforms it's just as simple as that. There is some room to wear something else, it's maybe ok to wear other stuff like headcovers, gloves, boots, face paint, maybe clothing camo patterns. Maybe there is a better option, when you start off as a basic soldier in a standard uniform and the more you play the game, the more you can choose to be able to wear weathered clothes, boots, helmets, etc. to see you're a veteran or weathered player, which also includes mud/grit on your face. Next to that you also want to be able to recognize the enemy, where every split second counts. Which brings me to gun, please only be able to spawn with weapon that belong to your faction/country. No spawn with MP40 as a British soldier, whatever you pick up on the battlefield is ok.

Guys, I wanted to cry! Battlefield was such a cosy game that brought you to the fields, made you feel like a real warrior! What is this, Dice? Why did you do this to your true fans?
