You guys removed the ability to customize storm troopers in BattleFront because it didn’t make sense in that universe, but an asian woman with a robotic arm and golden katana fighting with the British forces is totally logical, especially since this is based on REAL LIFE. More respect for a made up space opera than real life LOL

Everybody loving Cyberpunk 2027. You know why DICE? Because in cyberpunk female hero, customization and cyborg arms makes sense

Why did they set this in world war 2? None of the characters even look like they're from that period. They should have just set this game in a fake futuristic universe where soldiers dressed however they felt like dressing that day.

So I can't play as a French solder, a Dutch solder or a Norwegian solder, but I can play as a Japanese lady. I must be uneducated for pointing that out.

Battlefield V really is about brave SJWs fighting alongside DICE and EA versus angry gamers that just want to play a realistic, historically accurate WW2 game.

Why does everyone in the game not look like they are from WW2? Don’t they know that soldiers had standard issue equipment so everyone looked uniform? And why is almost no one wearing helmets!

Respectfully DICE, I don’t like this and it does not look like WW2. When the community asked for customisation, I don’t believe this is what anyone had in mind. Was hoping for uniforms that don’t stray too far off the beaten path. Like changing holster locations, degrees of battle-worn outfits, more pouches or bullet bandoliers, a bunch of different ghillie suits for recon... but instead recon gets no ghille suits as monetised customisation? When they were iconic to the era... but instead I can be an Asian lady with an odd hat my gran wouldn’t even wear out, in a fashionable duster, with detachable limbs and the ability to put twigs on my gun... why would I put twigs on my gun if I don’t have a ghille!? it just looks so silly. I’m so sad because all I’ve wanted is a WW2 game so badly. Some of it looks ok, but the rest is so jarring. An Asian woman in a derpy hat, face paints, golden weapons, every gender and race and sexual identity perfectly represented to the point I feel like I’m in a Nivea advert, not WW2, prosthetics, even the white budget-Kratos dude looks like he is of Swedish decent, I couldn’t tell if there is even an army or nazis in this I honestly don’t know what I’m looking at here. The immersion for me is just totally blown. If I’m meant to be getting this “just for gameplay” as many suggest, I would rather just go back and play bf4 or bf1, and put that money to another game. This game feels like it’s confused and does not know what it wants to be. It’s just a bunch of things and stuff and genders all just yoloing about. Also I’m sure the micro transactions are gonna be pretty steep. I’m also very burnt after picking up SWBF2 with the same monetisation model, and you guys literally just ditched it and didn’t even uphold one year of content or fix bugs. No hate to the devs, but I’m just disappointed and I’m gonna give this one a miss.

What is with the startling lack of combat helmets in a WW2 game.... running around with fat bald head , blue stripe down your face and a string vest is ridiculous. How are people not mentioning this? YES BF1 had a lack of character customisation but this did allow for the integrity and look of the world to be upheld. SILLY customisation removes the integrity of the game and reduces immersion. Asian women fighting in Europe for the allies? Seems legit

When I think about, it annoys me a bit that all factions in BF1 had a lot of ethnic diversity, no matter if you played as a german or britt... With one exception, there are no ethnic diversity in the ottoman empire. EA is plowing through the two greatest tragedies of human history with SJW agenda and history revisionism. It didn't annoy me when they released BF1. But now when I'm certain political activists are pushing an agenda in Dice and ea. I'm not sure I ever want to buy Battlefield again. I mean, female storm troopers were also really silly...but hey, star wars is just fiction. I didn't care that much about it. It just felt off.
