@@user01998 that's true, but a lot of people had a lot of faith in CDPR, simply because The Witcher III was a mainstream hit. They were essentially a B-list studio that got the hype of a AAA game developer.

As a battlefield die-hard, if they cut the single player campaign it will be one release I'll miss then. There are enough games to fill the online mutli player corner already

I agree. One of the memorable things I remember from BF3 and even BF4 in ways was the single player missions. I always thought it was really entertaining, and gave meaning to all of the multiplayer maps you played on. It sucks games now have been moving away from having a single player storyline.

Commander Mode, in the form they implemented it in BF4, was flawed for a few reasons: - If one team had a Commander but the other team didn't, that was a huge imbalance. DICE can fix this by matchmaking Commanders into sessions as a couple, one for each team. - They added mobile support... Then took it away again. I don't know about you, but grabbing an iPad and just playing this really casual game but having a real impact on people playing the actual game was so cool. - You spend 50% of your time idling waiting for cooldowns. DICE should allow the Commander to play in the physical world as something in the downtime, like fixed weapons or vehicle weapons being driven by an AI (think AC-130, battleships, UAV with AGMs, etc.)

@@Oliver_Saer in Bf2 commander was never idle. AlWAYS spotting enemy troops. It was kinda broken tho

Only one way exist in such situation, DICE doing this gen version, and an entirety different team is making it for last gen. One studio/can't be making two different games at the same time, it's unfeasible. If both versions are being made together, this gen will be compromised.

I'm glad they focused on one thing for now. They been fucking up a lot recently and a bit of focus will do them well. And that's coming from a guy that loves BF single player. Just have one of the other dev studios release single player content later using the same engine. Would love more co op. Imagine a 4 player co op mode were youre a tank crew.

I really liked the BF3 and BF4 campaigns, BF1 and Hardline was ok but BFV really sucked. In my opinion of course. I'm just talking about the campaigns not the games overall.

@@notsoepicgamer5420 the campaign gives a background for what’s happening the world of the game. If you played bf4 without the campaign it would be pretty vague and confusing.

BR isn’t even officially confirmed yet. But however I do think firestorm had something going for it and if they work harder at that as a stand-alone free to play game it will be extremely successful. Competition in a market is always good bc it can greatly benefit us, the consumers :)

The atmosphere of BF1 is my favourite from all the games. The graphics, environment, sound design and flow was the absolute best of any battlefield game

BFV did the same though soldiers would praise if you got clean headshots or escaped a tank. Also, the third person animations are extremely top tier in BFV

I member the first time I bayonet charged a guy in bf1... my soldiers scream and then nervous laughter after surviving and getting the kill... i couldn’t help but laugh myself at how awesome it was. Bf1 nailed the immersion and somehow bf V didnt have it as good
