I was playing a match of firestorm, forgetting there was destruction, and I got the crap scared out of me when the village I was in was being bombarded panzerfausts and artillery, Firestorm had so much potential.

I never planned on getting bf5 but it was free on ps plus and I've actually been having a ton of fun with full servers

Firestorm is my favorite BR that I’ve played and it’s such a shame that it’s development got cut.

I know many people were mad at Dice for "wasting" development time on this but admittedly Firestorm was the best fun I had in this game. I spent most of my play time there and met amazing people - great memories!

This BR should have been free to play if they wanted to see it evolve and become a thing of its own.

I really wish this got more praise and support. This was truly the golden battle royal. No other one like it to date. I am depressed

First time I played I was held up in a house standing fast. Then I heard it... the rumble after I heard a flare. I prayed as it grew louder and with an amen twas silent. Boom. V1 rocket is fcking scary.

Definitely the most terrifying storm of all BRs, one you actually want to run from!

I loved that we could still fight in the firestorm. It made for some great tactics. The weapon camo challenges were way more difficult than that of call of duty too, but I liked that whatever gun you picked up in firestorm, it always had that came you worked so hard for.

Absolutely loved Firestorm, it’s probably my favorite battle royale to date! The destruction, the vehicles, the map... all mixed with the actual fire... the ring of fire is the coolest zone I’ve ever seen! Hopefully we’ll get something similar in BF6!

Is jack just warming us up to the idea of another BR in the next Battlefield game? Surely jack knows more than he's telling us

to me this shows that if they just would've made this mode free to play, like every other BR game, it probably would've done very well for itself.

Firestorm was fun because it didn’t try to be something it’s not. It was battlefield and battle Royale and that’s it. They didn’t change anything as far as game play mechanics, and they had some really cool ideas to implement things like air strikes, vehicles, and other equipment from the base game. I found it was always balanced too. Overall, solid BR.

Not seeing the graphics or mechanics of BF in so long, this video made me so stoked for the next BF game. Please bring us back to modern day. BC2/BF3/ BF4 were some of the greatest games ever created.

Imagine if this were F2P... They should re-release this with BF 6, but stand-alone

It's 2023 and BF5 still looks absolutely phenomenal....

They should just make a BF BR game that combines all time periods of BF together and has like a shuffle feature for what decade of vehicles or weapons appear on the map

Some of the best times I’ve had in gaming was playing firestorm and than for no reason I never played it again but still play multiplayer. Makes me sad because it was so much fun.

So happy to see this game back in action it had its issues but loved the game with a passion.

Honestly, Firestorm was my favorite BR game to date, it was the spiritual successor to PUBG.

Not only did they get the firestorm visuals and scariness right, they got the speed it moved perfect. You could outrun it, meaning if you got caught out, you didn't automatically lose like in PUBG, Warzone and others. Can't remember how many times we died to zone in PUBG cause we couldn't outrun it in going 100km/h in a car.

What the heck!!! Man I wish I could enjoy this. Really hope they bring a BR maybe next year

No cap the best BR experience is right before our eyes and no ones knows it. If this was free man I don't even know what would happen. I loved it for the month it was playable.

I’ve always regarded Dice as a ground breaking development team and I have loved every single Battlefield I’ve ever played. I convinced my friends that it would be a better team experience than COD back during BF3 and they all converted. We expected Firestorm to hit hard and be the best BR bc they have the best engine for it. I believe it could have kept going and been something very special if they kept going with it. But that being said I’m really excited to see where they go in the future and I’ll always be a fan.
