If you pay attention, you'll notice that they actually pieced together sections of BF1942 and 1943's themes for this rendition: 1943's intro, 1942's trumpets, then a transition to 1943's string flourishes. It sounds absolutely amazing. What's even greater is that they play 1943 part in the airplane scene as a reference to Air Superiority in 1943.

EA BF1: "Remember the horrors and sacrifices of war, and be glad it's over" EA BF5: "Yeah so women were deployed during operation dragoon, and the operation was taken during the day. Also, you can pay 60 bucks to become staff sergeant upon enlisting."

Firstly I would like to say that this is an amazing game - the multiplier is enthralling and I really like the way you have brought back and innovated the testing range also the new squad system where the leader can call in support items is very creative and innovative. That being said I was a bit disappointed with the campaign. I really like the war stories and how you get to experience different characters however you failed to show all the different conflict zones in WW2. What about the eastern front with the soviets? Seeing as the Soviet Union was basically the superpower responsible for defeating the nazis you would have thought that they would be relevant. Also by failing to highlight the immense sacrifice and loss of life by the Soviets is a failure to capture the Second World War. There are so many major and war defining battles on this front - Stalingrad, Leningrad, operation Citadel, Kursk, Warsaw uprising (Polish resistance betrayed by Stalin and left at the hands of the SS), the battle of Berlin. Furthermore, there is no mention of the other major conflict in the East against Japan. This would have led to and opened up many different storylines and narratives - Kamikaze pilots, Naval battles, Beach landings, Island hopping, Air battles etc. This wouldn't just be an american front, as China, the UK, India, Australia, the Philippines to name but a few were all involved in this field of war. I don't understand why this wasn't done to be honest. It seems as though two of the first person shooter giants - COD and Battlefield - produced games in the same time period and failed to capture anything other than the west fighting the nazis. I understand battlefield's main goal is not single player but opening up these avenues in single player would lead to incredible multiplayer matches with different maps and a wider variety of weapons on offer.

Game would've been successful if they started their reveal with this trailer xDDD

This game just had so much potential.. DICE is the perfect company to make a WW2 game, it saddens me to see all the stuff this game could of been go to waste.
