Ustadh has every right to do so. Imagine yourself teaching people for free over the years when you put in tons of research, effort youd think at some point that you must be payed for it. Schools dont even provide THIS quality of education yet they charge ridiculous amounts (in most places and in my country as well) so this is Ustadh putting in his time and effort so he should be payed well for it. Just because someone teaches religion/quran doesn't mean they cannot make a living out of it. Nothing wrong with earning this way. Infact it is encouraged to pay your teacher who's teaches Quran or anything about Islam. Also if you cannot afford bayinnah tv than apply for subscription. Dont expect anything for free. You'll find someone who'll sponsor you if you're interested but cannot afford.
