I agree that the face style is better and that some fur sculpt should have gone on - after all, he's meant to be a hairy beast of a guy. The cheap production looks like the compromise for having the better face

It does reflect the animated look without the fur sculpted in, but I do think they should have added it anyway. Although when I went to look at the cartoon to get a good look at him the color looks too bright on the toy compared to the show.
