@Taylortot exactly, there are upsides and downsides. I am kind of a minimalist, I could live in a forest without anything but a backpack and be happy. The main thing I hate about the us is food. Last I checked everywhere had better prices, and less processed junk. Most "first world" countries are filled with this processed food though, but not like the US. And no shit there are reasons for food being processed, I am pro gmo, but I don't like that the processed food caused obesity and low testosterone at the same time. It almost makes me think the FDA does it on purpose. And don't get me started on the SSRIs, snris, antipsychotics they let pass that make your mental disorder more fucked (antipsychotics kind of depend, for me they made me lazy and not determined, was a robot, SSRIs made me more skitz, snris are similar I haven't used any), they're fucked. The companies get money for suffering and addiction. These drugs literally rewire your brain if taken at prescribed, SSRIs make you produce more serotonin in one area and balance it other places, depending on the shape of the chemical, snris do similar but act on adrenaline too, and antipsychotics make all of your serotonin low except for one or two receptors, olanzapine is an agonist for 5ht-5a, but an antagonist for all the other receptors. I don't remember any others, so I'm not going to look it up. There are drugs everywhere, but in the US they are regulated and fuck you up. In some countries they aren't regulated and fuck you up, are placebo, or kill you. Fuck drugs

@Taylortot by the way, I am very grateful to be able to eat 3,000 calories a day, of mostly unprocessed food. I get the majority of my food from the Mormons for free, and I finally started getting the right protein intake withoit crazy calories in.

Maybe you really are one of the few people this type of torture doesn't work on, or maybe you're full of shit. Either way, this is a legitimate form of torture that has been used in the past. Don't diminish it just because you claim you can deal with it without a problem. Also, an hour is nothing. Try to deal with this for a day, or more.
