I don't think anyone but the singer truly understands how difficult it is to sing in your room vs. in front of an audience. With the breath support and projection, it makes it so hard; especially when you're really nervous and you have trouble breathing and you can't seem to support your breath while singing. People just don't know how to react to other people's anxiety. Saying "keep going" or commenting on how nervous someone is does not help. At all.

I'm crying for her!!! I suffer from severe anxiety! All types! You name it I got it! I always wanted to do something like this but I never have the confidence nor push to get up and do it! Bless her!!!! It's hard!!!!!!! 'Believe in yourself' is complete bull when you can't fully asorb that! Yes! she has an incredible voice! And I'm sure she knows she can do it, but it's not easy!!! Anxiety takes over your whole body!!!! It's not just some shit you can shake off and worry about some other time! I don't think people get that!!! To all of you who took psy 101 and start labeling her or trying define her confidence you are all wrong. Public speech/anxiety is the number one fear. It is feared more than death. Heart rate goes to almost death, perspiration and anxiety go to maximum levels and simple things auch as speech and cognitive controls are lost. Anxiety disorder? She acts like any teenage girl would act when the world is watching.
