Canelo has already proved himself time in and time out. He doesn't have to fight Benavidez but he will. These younger guys need to keep fighting eachother. But They mostly avoid eachother and all call out Canelo even though they still have lots of work to do before they really deserve him. They should have another super 6 or super 8 tournament. Benavidez in all honesty is way bigger than 168. He's even bigger than most light heavyweights. He should really be fighting at Cruiserweight and could fight at heavyweight. He's got a huge size and power advantage over all the other super middleweights along with talent so it's not even really fair for his opponents. He should fight Bivol and Arthur Beterbiev. Those real challenges to him.

Benavidez is 6'2, Canelo fought 6'3 Callum Smith and 6'1 Caleb Plant 6'1 Rocky Fielding 6'0 Kovalev. Canelo also tried to fight Badou Jack who is 6'1 and heavier than Benavidez. If Canelo doesn't want to fight Benavidez that's fine, but he should give up the belts.
