I love how the story board puts so much attention to detail with the cartoon violence humor to match with the Butcher Gang’s designs in the game itself. Edgar gets his arm desecrated by a piano cover, it gets replace with a robotic arm in the game. Barley gets tied up by a fishing pole, his head becomes a fishing pole in the game. Charlie gets knocked in the head with a few bottles, his head and face are scarred and wounded in the game. Seriously, why is nobody else pointing this out?

I'm a film student who's had a class on storyboarding, and I have to say... THIS LOOKS AMAZING! I've never seen such good quality work, you've even got the shot descriptions and dialogue underneath.

I loved re-watching this, and I only now realized in the pub that the Butcher Gang's weapons and attacks are like their characteristics in game, Charley with the pipe, Barley with the fishing rod, and Edgar with the extending arm, really great referencing!

This feels like a perfect inbetween cartoon. Like something Joey Drew would try himself before jumping to what he did. To see if he can bring his characters to life in an easier way. Fantastic Job.

This is honestly stunning. As someone who used to watch a lot of those old cartoons when I was younger on Boomerang and Toonheads, I say you hit the vibe of them very well without it even being animated. Also I love how you characterized all of them here, fitting perfectly with how their personalities were defined in both the games and the little cartoon shorts that have been coming out. Bendy especially is interesting because I always saw his cartoon character as a mischievous but not really malicious presence, more akin to Bugs Bunny than Mickey Mouse if anything despite the closer resemblance. The 'ink demon' as his shadow when he wanted to do something devious was a nice touch. I think it would be a cool little implication with that visage of the ink demon always there, but never actually physically shown. Great work!

This was spot on. If this was animated I would’ve thought it was an actual cartoon from the time era. Bendy mumbling to himself like Popeye and certain things being in time with the music we’re the touches that got me.

I feel like this is really how the actual cartoon would actually play out. I love this

I think this may be the best example of modern creativity capturing the feel and style of old fashioned “rubber hose” cartoons (besides Cuphead). It keeps pace with the later, somewhat more sophisticated animations of later generations, but not so much that it would feel too alienated from the era that it’s supposed to be representing. I imagine this cartoon as canonically one of Joey Drew Studios’ earliest attempts to make something with a little more meat on its bones than what it and its competitors were putting out before.

A true masterpiece, wouldn't mind watching this as a full series even nowadays, all the jokes and events would fit perfectly for a cartoon, with a really well-made storyboarding, voice acting and some funny little references, as well as the songs that add an extra feeling to it and changes troughout the episode accordingly to the emotions, just think that is a pretty neat detail. Also side note, definitly aged pretty well and i'm glad that i found it, even though i'm kinda late lol-

I like how during the bar fight, the butcher gang’s injury’s reference there messed counterparts from the game such as Edgar’s stretchy arm bendy crushed being the same mechanic one in his striker form.

And then Sammy Lawrence came in and shut the whole thing down! Told everyone to wait in the hall.

Some parts are actually references to their appearance in the game, such as Bendy’s shadow at 3:29 and the gang’s injuries at 5:46. You can even see the ghost cutout, Tom and the Projectionist at 4:04.

At first I was telling myself that Bendy wouldn't make a very good show because there would really be a lot of episode material. But after seeing this I'm now thinking wow Bendy would make a really good show. In fact if they did make a Bendy show it would probably be like the new Cuphead show.

Bits of attention to detail I loved: * Opening theme is the infamous whistling we hear through the games/trailers, but with lyrics. * Again, later on, Bendy whistles the same tune himself * During the shot of the Gang walking into the bar, we can see: The ghost and skeleton from the Buddy Boris Railway, A clown and a duck/chicken (These are the only two I don't know what they're referencing, if anything at all), A cartoonified Projectionist, A literal sheep version of Sammy Laurence, and Tom from the end of Chapter 4! * Shortly after at 4:18 we can see Alice(Or possibly Allison, seeing as she seems to have a ponytail) sitting at a table in the top right. * During the chase scene, the background music is actually the tune we hear the Butcher Gang sing at the start of the "episode". * The pianist appears to be a cartoonified Lost One. * During the shot of all of the injured gang members, all of their injuries mimic their inky "imperfections" we see in their in-game versions. (Edgar's stretched out arm, Charley's disheveled/ beat up appearance, he's even wielding a pipe, and although loosely connected, Barley being wrapped up in the fishing line resembles how his head is attached to the fishing pole in game) * Finally, the ending theme is another variation of the whistling theme. I probably missed some other stuff, but that's all I can find. It's clear a lot of hard work went into this, so I just wanna let people know exactly the thought that went into this. Well done to all involved! I'd love to see more of this kind of thing in the future!

the progectionist actually suits his look in this cartoon and it shows that even the searchers and lost ones may have been in these cartoons as much friendlier and less scary characters.

I'll be honest, never a huge Bendy fan, but this is FANTASTIC! It really reminds me of old looney toons and i cant get enough of this! The voice acting, music choice, timing, and the layout of the "future" animation for this is beautiful. Absolutely wonderful job

I always wanted to see the butcher gang in a bendy cartoon. And now I have!

*I'm calling it:* In efforts to boost their ratings along with getting with the times of sound, Joey Drew thought it would be wise to add voices to the characters. However, due to difficulties involving financial cost and time management, the final cut never saw the light of day and this cut remain within the studio, left to collect dust on the production shelf.

I like to imagine this is the kind of stuff Arch Gate Pictures does after getting the Bendy license from Joey's Estate.

This is incredible! Their voices are SO fitting and the entire plot is short and whimsical; the perfect standard for a short back in the good ol' days (not to mention the runtime is standard for a short as well). You should all be proud, the amount of effort put into this really shows! Also, in case anyone is up for actually animating this, I'd love to help!

The music really sells the 1930’s style of cartoon music, and I love how you created lyrics for the main whistle theme of the game and even a theme song for the Butcher Gang. Edit: also, I think Tom Kenny would make a great Bendy, don’t you think?

The favorite part of the show is that it had the batim reference and similar characters from batim. That is amazing

My favorite character from the butcher gang could be Edgar, i like the voice you gave him, and he seems to be some kind of lil' brother or pet, i really like that character. I wish this series was real and this episode was the official plot from the episode.

At the scene at the end charley holds a pipe so thats why hes named piper in the game and edgar gets his arm slammed with the piano and it is the same arm he got modified in the game and barley gets cought with a fishing rod (and also is a fisher from his outfit so it fits him)
