I thought your chorus that I was hearing on social media was catchy. Then my wife listened to the song wholly and played it blindly for me. There is not a single song that I've ever heard that speaks of the desperation of holding dear to the things we ALREADY HAVE with an almost painful importance. There is not a song in this world in my 33 years here that has spoken so closely from my heart. This song is astounding. It is exactly what my heart feels. It is exactly every worry that I carry daily. The chorus is catchy, but until you hear the verses-- it doesn't sink in. Please stay, I want you I need you. Oh God, don't take these beautiful things that I've got. I hope you continue the most successful of careers writing music that touches the heart so deeply.
