Completely safe bro. They are not any extraordinary people or hackers, they are normal people like you and me who made these. The official builds are authorised by the ROM team. And the unofficial builds are made in the same way but you got the idea i guess.

Best custom ROM for gaming is Arrow OS 13.1 by Pratham. And it's stock kernel performs dope but a gaming kernel is Thunderstorm reborn.
