@@yourmum69_420In tournaments some don't even care, and in the street we won't because it can cause more destruction to land on top of your opponent and not assist their fall Like the creator of Judo said: "Judo is a study of techniques with which you may kill if you wish to kill, injure if you wish to injure, subdue if you wish to subdue, and, when attacked, defend yourself.” Meaning that blasting someone who doesn't know how to fall onto concrete full force will literally break them. And you actually don't need to control their fall if you don't want to. You can land on top of them and let them fall with the throw Judo can be the gentle way but also the brutal way

You did a GREAT job bringing Judo to the masses' entertainment. Usually, boring to watch, unless you are IN IT. This video brought out the subtle finesse/power that is embedded within the art. I LOVE the ones where the guys takes their whole leg and sweeps up the opponent off balance into a throw/wheel. Just pure FUN to watch. And best of all, no one got their faces bloodied or neck broken, true meaning of Martial Art!!!!

I also wanted to add that the evolution of judo techniques and the innovative spirit of judoka never ceases to surprise me! Buy a book on judo. All u need is another body to practice on ask around if anyone wants to practice with you b4 or after on on an open mat day. If your in bjj just ask your instructor to go over some throws. Take it slow nice and easy learn how to fall first and just learn the technique. It's been years since I've did BJJ. But one of the places I trained was a young lady who started with judo first so that helped but it's not hard to add to your game. Hard to do on a resisting opponent but once u start messing around with it you'll start to see the openings 4 it. When you do hit a throw it feels cool
