If they don’t go down the field and score Washington would’ve had some momentum only down 7 with a lot of time left. That drive is what opened the flood gates.

Penix had some opportunities to keep the game closer but he looked nervous and over threw guys. Washingtons run D is not good and it showed. Having a former NFL head coach is a huge advantage I would think. Harbaugh really got these guys playing at a high level. Congrats Wolverines.

If you listen to the Minnesota head coach, P J Fleck’s post game from 〽️’s game earlier in the season he describes what the Michigan team is which is extremely “deep” especially on defense. So many interchangeable players that get rotated in and out almost every play, keeping them fresh and not tired. A well-oiled defensive machine that wears down the opponents. I can’t recall how many games it was before any team scored on us in any 3rd quarter and also no-score in red zone for a number of games either. Go Blue! ‘78 grad/alum.
