I am a $u!c!d@l person and I have been trying to overcome this for 4 years without any family or medical support. This and similar playlists and the grateful words of people in the comments make me look at life more meaningfully and remind me that there is still something in life that I should hold on to even though I am in my early twenties. The thing is- we're depressed, but we're telling other depressed/suicidal people that they're beautiful and worth it but we can't tell *ourselves* that.

I know that most wont see this, but i have to thank every one in the comments. I might have attempted taking my life, but you have all made me see the good through the bad. And how if i did that, i would hurt others more then me. I started crying just reading these comments. Ive been through so much, and i cant afford to lose it. I just hide behind a mask of making others laugh to make myself forget about depression. I hope this can help others in ways you have all helped me.

After 3 suicide attempts, im still here. The only think that keeps me hopeful in life is that i believe happiness is achievable. You have to figure out what truely makes you happy. Its easy to have religion crammed down your throat but not everyone responds to that. Noone on this earth can make you as happy as you can. Once you find that thing that makes you happy, life is soo beautiful. If you have to cry, then cry, if you need to be alone, be alone but just know things will get better. Nothing bad maintains its cycle.

I hope nobody feels anything negative from it but I have been feeling so angry lately. I was so positive before and something bad happened and then something else bad happened and now all I have are bad thoughts. I have been trying my whole life to make something good out of it and it all leads to this. I want to improve but it just ends up being this. It's like everything I touch goes to shit. I am trying but it does not matter. How do I hope again? I am here to ask anyone who is reading, does it matter?

Thank you for this. The peace and serenity that this brings is unimaginable. My brain is usually 500 steps behind, thinking about something I can no longer change, or 500 steps ahead, thinking of things I cannot yet change. Slowing everything down, you reminded me to just be present and enjoy where I'm at. It's not perfect, but I'm still here and able to write this response. You quieted the noise and reminded me that there are a lot of things I'm still hopeful to accomplish. For now, all I can do is enjoy the moment.

It is weird that these songs can get you feel relaxed but also so sad. I used to be a suicidal person, and i think that i got over it, but there is an insistent part of me that still feels so lonely and desperate. I have a wonderful family now, 36 year old man, but still, sometimes I just want everything to be over. Say that im done and shut down my eyes, shut down myself.
