As someone who watched Dota2 since it's birth and was always biased towards TI3 because of the eL classico, I truly think TI8 right now is the best TI ever, not only it had so many good games but it had the content for everything in the DOTA world. Gaben quotting a "meme" in the very intro of TI8, The awesome intro that wasn't as awkward as before, The awesome idea of the "Late Game" after each day, The Gabe Newell voice pack, The dramatic story of Sheever fighting against cancer, Showing the love for the DOTA2 Girls community in Brazil, Showing DotA2 love for Japan, Brazil and Peru, The "Drama" between the teams, The comeback of Bruno, The comeback of Ben "Merlini" Wu, The announcement of two new heroes and one of them is already out, The broken tradition of the West vs China years of TI's championship, The TOP6 teams being a clash of OG, PSG.LGD, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, Virtus Pro and Team Secret, in a way you could say there was no underdog or new team this year. and of course the only thing that was missing in every other TI in order to beat TI3 as the best TI ever, an epic clash of a Grand Final with ALL 5 games. Also the God of DotA2 himself, "Icefrog" acknowledging OG's victory putting the cherry at the top. The only thing that was lackluster there it was the All-star match, but aside from that, it will be extremely hard to top TI8.

The number of times I thought OG were going out only for them to bring it back was incredible. You might get a game or two of luck, but not an entire series or upper bracket run! Topson honestly reminded me of OG-era Miracle. Both were/are pubstars, and Miracle when he first turned pro played like a pubstar. He was over aggressive, dived deeply and played impatiently. Topson is quite similar - I thought his inexperience showed. Plenty of flashy plays, but then plenty of very questionable decisions where he made plays he'd get away with in a pub game, but not against pros. This is nothing against his raw skill, which is extraordinary, but we haven't seen the best of Topson yet. That's still to come! Hope this OG roster stick together.

they really deserve it imo. They cant probably won it if fly and s4 stayed in the team with the problems and drama going on. Ana and Topson really played amazing, Ana who can play POS 1(not so dominant) and 2 is a great move. Topson on the other hand as a rookie, played really well. It is hard to counter an upredictable player and can play whatever he wants. I did not expect them to win and i'm sure some of you did too. Kudos to OG and PSG.LGD for giving us one memorable TI ever. GGWP.
