to be honset Squad tank gameplay is unrealistic as fuck you need to unload your Main gun if you want to shoot your COAX Mgs what makes no sense damage system is dumb to tanks take damage from shots what the arent supposed to and other way around a t72 wont take multiple Apfsds to the lower plate with out cooking off i like post scriptum new damage system more i didnt play it but from the video i see it acts realistic tanks will take alot of damage or even get oneshoted by shot what the are supposed to

Yes! Indeed, it is great game. But it was not released when this video was made, so it wasn't included. However I agree with you about the game - it has distinguishable pros over other tank games. I have instaled the game on pc, but had no time properly play it. Probably in 2023 I will cover this one. Have you played it? What you can say about it?

I have a few suggestions that I was baffled not to see on this list: First off, since you mentioned Company of Heroes, you should definitely include Men of War/Call to Arms - these are RTS games that let you take direct control of your units, including tanks, and play in 3rd person view. Second - if you want a sim-lite experience, you HAVE to try "Gunner, HEAT, PC" - it includes more vehicles and is easier to get into than Steel Armor. Finally, if you want a full-on sim experience - try Steel Beasts.

Great suggestion! Absolutely agree - these are great games, however Gunner, HEAT, PC! hasn't been released when video was made, so haven't included it. Thank you! These should be definitely included in next top.

Put: ArmA III, Steel Fury Kharkov 1942, Achtung Panzer - Kharkov 1943, Easy Red 2, Squad 44, T-34 Vs Tiger, Tank Crew Clash at Prokorovka, and CTA GOH, MOW AS2, etc, all these have a big tank battle, better than the pops listed on video.

Thanks! War Thunder is very realistic, but slow in progression. Armored Warfare has great visual and realistic effects and features, but there are not so many players as in WOT or WT. I resumed / started from beginning actually... to play WOT some 2 month ago on not regular basis and I can tell you that I really enjoy that game and have quite a good success ... sometimes :D It is great tactical game in comparison to AW which is much more faster in pace... I mean it is much more dynamic than WOT, and you getting use to that pace quit quickly, so thats why going back and playing WOT often feels like easy task with much more time to weigh out situations and make decisions. I love WOT - great game - especially as with new update they will gran sixth sense to all commanders - which in my opinion is fair and balance the game, because, say - I'm do not consider myself uber pro, but if you see me and I have no indication thet I'm been spotted, because of lack of sixth sense and not optics, mao factors or experience and you can beat me only because you play longer and have that skill that sucks - because here we do not compare apples to apples - or one play skill to other's, but just time spent in the game to get that skill. Say now I can easily quit confidently rule the field, when I play vehicle which commander has sixth sense and really suck with vehicle which commander does not has that skill. Oh, got bit too long here... Which game are you aiming at to try out?

@@TheDiceTreasures World of Tanks is a plain Pay to Win game for kids... cartoonish and nowhere near reality... War Thunder is what real players play... Btw I have played both WoT and War Thunder a lot... and there is nothing that comes closer to War Thunder...

I have had a problem with armored warfare is once installing your anti virus could effect downloading it.

Hi. It seems normal. AW team mention that quite frequently that some systems treat game client as malware and anti virus restriction should be switched off during install. I never experienced that myself, but I suppose that if your system does that then one solution could be following steps: 1. download client installation file 2. switch off internet connection 3. switch off anti virus 4. install client 5. switch on anti virus 6. switch on internet connection 7. play the game However it is only my guessing, cause i never experienced issues with anti virus regarding AW. For 100% competent solution I would recommend to contact AW support team - they are great guys and answer all questions (technical and in game... actually even about game mechanics). Hope it will help! If anything else I can help, write it down.

I'm quite surprised you didn't include either Graviteam Tactics or Combat Mission (II) series games in the top ten. They're the most realistic depiction of combined warfare and tank combat around, far superior to Steel Division 2 or Panzer Corps which are, although fun, essentially just beer and pretzel games.

WoT is the most blatant pay to win game ever... and yeh I have 50.5% win rate in WoT and I have played it extensively... name one tech tree tank that comes close to Skoda T56 or Vipera or the new Chinese Premium HT... none or say a guy with 5 skilled crew vs a guy with 1 skilled crew... WoT is introducing OP premiums like toys in dozens every other month... and yeh your games are pre decided by RNG... you just think you are playing... lol ,,, were as in War Thunder premiums are only there to ease the grind... almost 90% premiums are inferior to the tech tree tanks... but yeh too many pew pew skill less noobs prefer WoT as it's easy... War Thunder requires real skills... it's not for everybody... and certainly not for skill less noobs who ask others to get better... get it?

WoT is a game I do play now for 7 years and have over 40.000 games done. I can not recommend it for new 🆕 players . The learners ng curve is very steep, do not expect you got if even after a few thousand games. You are nowadays forced to spend literally at least $100 annually, more like $200-$300. Otherwise it is a waste of your time . Also you need to play regularly or the game changes so much that you are back to start after a few months of hiatus. Even the game developers give a shit for new players and concentrate on keeping long time players like me

pay to win? I guess you are talking about premium stuff. like tanks and some premium commanders like Ophelia :/ right? Personally I feel that only when I encounter Ophelia :D Say you have bit of HP left and opponent has bit as well and you know you can and you will be faster and trick opponent and destroy, and then suddenly - BOM - he got 1HP left because Ophelia and you are scruced cause you dont have her. Premium tanks quite often rule field as well, especially if played in between mates in platoons, but not always

Most of your selection are not 'tank' games. Panzer Corps 1 and 2 are great, but they are not focused on tank action. World of tanks for example sure is. Panzer Elite is ok fun, but it belongs in the 90s. The rest were just tactical settings.

@@TheDiceTreasures Fan of Panzer Corps. You might have also picked LocknLoad Tactical Digital series. Valor And Victory series. Battle Academy series. Close Combat Series. Decisive Campaigns series. Flashpoint Campaigns series. Order of Battle series. Squad Battles series. Unity of Command Series. All of them feature tanks. Or at least pretty graphics of tanks along with the other units. Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2 also has 'tanks' technically. But it's only going to interest a significantly more dedicated gamer.

I don't like any of those games. But, that's just me. BTW, isn't WoT a pay-to-win? IMO, no game is good if just spending money can immediately put that player over the casual player. The only thing that should be available to buy is cosmetics.

Unfortunately WoT is under the heavy influence of pay to win... I do not like that as well. War Thunder and Steal Division are way more better games. Thank's for sharing your opinion!

@@TheDiceTreasures TY for the reply. A lot of people do not like to overly grind. But, that would be better than pay-to-win! I have played Il-2 and all the Arma series forever. If WoT was decently grind-to-play, I would play it for casual fun.

@@netzoned Yeah, games are bit of the time wast anyway :D But it is easy to get addicted as well. I guess it depends on personality as well. Sometimes I cannot forgive myself to gave up on the game after some time invested, that's why skipping the games / changing the games after each ~3 months is a working strategy for me. But some games stuck for longer and then it becomes ... :D work...

World of tanks is not for casual gamers at all. World of tanks is nothing but a time or wallet sink and nothing else. As for War Thunder the issue I had seen was WW2 era tanks having a crazy number of hit on a enemy gun. Something not possible in WW@ so it is a issue calling it historically accurate when you have things like this. Other then things like that as far as play it is what I would say the best PC tank game as well.. Good video overall!

Thanks! During last years I came across so many negative feedbacks about WoT.... What's happening? Agree, in days when I actively played that game I remember those golden players who just bluntly paved their way using premium ammo and mods... As I never invested a penny in any game for in game purchase and prefer to play to achieve approach, then I left the game and started to play AW, but it is dead game. What's happening, appears that tank games are diminishing? Is it so?

I played War Thunder for simulator mode . I quit the game when they put helicopters in Sim mode!

@@TheDiceTreasures sounds, or lack there of on some of the vehicles sound and hit flash directional issues . Drones cannot be seen by thermal or radar but randomly pick you off . volumetrics , and several other annoyances, very disappointing

So I started to play WOT recently..... again :D So, yes, right now playing AW and WOT. What else do you play?

@@top10idk I know that :) I understand :) G Game just, was not released at at the time. Since then tried that game couple of time, but some how it did not stuck for long on my screen. Played Beta and somehow controls did bot felt fight, but I see that there are many people (on other hand) that love the game. What do you think about it?

Yeah, it seems like in recent years tank games started to diminish. Its more to do with newer generation of players comming around as well. New interests, new trends etc.

Armoref Warfare is literally DEAD. No playerbase, no development,horrible buggy and all about srlling maximum overpriced prem. Stuff. In addition u dont own the game, if thex close server u lost everything
