Se comen a los que son domésticos y los que según son comestibles. No a los que están en su cadena alimenticia. Tu crías vacas lecheras para tragarte la leche. Culling the old bucks from herds actually helps their numbers. Gives the smaller, younger bucks and chance to spread their genes. Same with a lot of other herd animals. Older bucks will maim and kill the younger ones.
